Jubilee and Oak Langley makes Customer Fireplace Gallery

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Well it is a long time since since we sold Mr Stratford-Way his made to measure Langley solid oak surround which we manufactured for him so it would fit the Jubilee Arched insert.
We normally sell this particular oak mantel as the Coronet and Oak Langley as the surround is a 52″ wide and has no shelf so sites directly onto the hearth leaving a 1″ gap either side.
No our customer decided he wanted the Jubilee instead so we slighlty altered the dimensions of this mantel to suit the openings required to be used with the Jubilee and im sure as you will agree in the photos you can not tell as it looks very pleasing to the eye.
Now this fireplace was supplied with pushunder for solid fuel granite hearth but it appears not to have been fitted correctly and cut down a small measure im sure but i do like things to look the way they should needless to say our customer is very pleased and he emailed me this comment

Mr Wing Adds his Edwardian Fireplace and Kingston Marble to our Gallery

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

Having supplied two fireplace orders to Mr Wing from Peterborough who i met on the last delivery early in the morning to deliver a Henley and Kingston Marble Package to i was very impressed by the Edwardain fireplace he had installed in one of his rooms.
Living in a lovely victorian house as he does both these fireplaces we have supplied him look fantastic now they are fitted.
Here below are the comments he left for our website

Dear all at Cast Fireplaces,

I would like to tell you how happy I am with the fireplaces you supplied. Excellent and friendly service both with order, delivery and advice. Both fireplaces top quality products at a very reasonable price.
I would not hesitate in recommending your company. 10/10

Andrew Wing
Peterborough

As you can see he is very happy with his fireplaces and i commented on seeing the Edwardian as i delivered the Henley that it looked really good he told me he had fitted it himself which we normally do not advise.
A few days after delivering i recieved photos of  the Edwardian and also a picture of The Henley and Kingston have a look at the following pictures and see what effect can be achieved by having a fireplace installed.
Both Fireplaces we have supplied are for solid fuel use (Real Fire) and he has taken a photo of the both burning away very nicely so hope this gives you some idea of another fireplace and how it will look fitted in your home

Lytton and Pine Lincoln Fireplace is like changing rooms

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

Hi there I forgot completely to load yesterdays article continuing the theme of Customer photos so here it is all pre written so I do not have to do one today.

We have had a few photos sent us by our customers with there fitted fireplaces and today featured fireplace is the Lytton and Pine Lincoln Solid fuel package.
For this one we actually have a before and after photo so take a look at the 1st photo shown below

BEFORE PHOTO fire place 002

This Gas Fireplace is hideous and is straight for the 1970s it even has little shelves on the side to place ornaments on I am amazed it was still working before being sent to the scrap heap.
Now take a peek at the new fireplace that was installed in its place a change from gas to solid fuel as well you may notice it is even burning away at a nice lump of wood.

This Lytton Highlighted fireplace goes very well with our plain Lincoln mantel and I am sure you will agree is a huge change of look and style in fireplace and is much more in keeping with any traditional home and with prices starting at £480 there really is no reason to put up with a fire from the past.
So if you feel like taking before and after photos and contributing to our Customer Fireplace gallery please feel free to email them and we will feature them and if you do see somebody with a outdated fire point them in our direction were just like changing rooms.

Black Tiled Insert and Pine Bedford Fireplace makes our gallery section

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Claire Cox from Dudley contacted Cast Fireplaces via our easy to use Website to supply a tiled insert and surround package for gas use.
The order was placed on the 7th June and was delivered the following week
The item she order was the Black Tiled Insert and Pine Bedford Gas Package they chose the 48” Pine Bedford Mantel with the Haslingden Burgundy Ivory Tiles.
This item has now been installed and a photograph was sent to us on the 29th June.
The Tulip Black cast iron fireplace insert is one of our best selling tiled inserts second only to the Toulouse. It has a decorative hood with the tulip pattern on it (hence the name) and comes complete with a set of art Nouveau bars and ash pan cover
The Haslingden tiles they have chosen compliment the fireplace very well and the choice of the 48” pine Bedford Mantel fits the chimneybreast perfectly and makes a great feature.
If you to wish to order this feature set just click the link above or click or on the photo shown below of this fireplace fitted in place and I’m sure you will agree it makes a very nice feature and a real bargain at £610 and is also one of the best selling wooden packages we sell.

Tradition Highlighted now in our fireplace gallery

Monday, June 15th, 2009

Cast Fireplaces were contacted by Samantha Clark to help source a cast iron fireplace and granite hearth to fit an existing surround the customer already had.
After confirming what size the existing surround including opening dimensions was and whether it was for gas or solid fuel use, we always ask these questions so we can recommend something that will not only fit but can be used for the purpose intended. After all this was discussed they decided to go with the Tradition Arched Insert in the Highlighted finish complete with a solid fuel kit.
This fireplace is ideal for solid fuel use as you can see in the photo you can got a good sized log on it this was supplied and is now fitted in the customers hallway greeting everyone that visits and as Sam says” most of our visitors comment on how well it goes in the hall”
We are always willing to give free helpful advice on all the products we sell and can often suggest products that you might think wouldn’t fit or had not considered. We never lead customers into products you don’t think are right but our good sound advice is often taken and customers are always pleased with the finished result.
So take a look at the photo Sam kindly sent us for our gallery and see what we can do for you.

Supplied Tradition Highlighted and Hearth

Made to Measure Granite Fireplace Hearths

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

Here at Castfireplaces we supply Granite and Tiled Hearths in Standard and made to measure sizes we have offered this service since we started and it is very popular as many other companies offer just the standard range. There is nothing worse than if you have stripped wooden floors to see the concrete sub hearth underneath. We can also add the extra price of a made to measure hearth on to our package prices so you can still get a real bargain price whether your fireplace is for gas or solid fuel use. We were contacted by a Tim Renshaw from Huddersfield for a standard granite hearth and a Made to Measure Granite Hearth slab to sit inside the chimney Breast. After a few emails and a phone call the items were ordered on the 12/05/09 they arrived to us last Wednesday and were delivered early this morning. I was amazed when this afternoon a photo arrived of the hearth and the Sub hearth installed with the stove sitting on it. It has now been added to our Customer Gallery so others can see what our items look like when they have been fitted in our customer’s houses. This made to measure service for our hearths takes between 1 –3 weeks depending on how busy hearth people are and you need to contact us so we can get you a price whether it be for gas or solid fuel use.

Pembroke full polished cast iron fireplace

My Pembroke

My Pembroke

This is a photo from my lounge featuring the Pembroke Full Polish Fireplace we have this fireplace fitted on a 48″ black granite hearth and have a gas fire fitted with the pebble effect. It seems very strange photographing my own fireplace and adding it to our website for you all to see i suppose its because i am used to uploading photos from the brochure or ones we have taken in the studio to create good and clear images. Any way here goes you can see what we have got and how we have decorated i love this cast and am very pleased with how it looks on our chimney breast.

Anyway the Pembroke fireplace has been our best selling combination cast for a number of years now it is available in all Black finish (matt or black leaded) or as in this photo a complete full polish shiny finish. I prefer the full polish finish as i think its modern in style but also will suit a traditional looking room so it’s not out of place with a big plasma television and your leather suites thats all there is in our lounge so it then becomes our main focal point of the room (apart from the Xbox 360).

Have a look at my photo and see what you think if you want any help choosing a fire from us give us a ring or email us were here to offer free friendly advice.

Stove photos from my house

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

As promised i am starting the ball rolling with these photos of installed fires

This photo is of my Tiger Plus Stove i have had this stove installed for 1 hard winter now and when it was bitterly cold in January this stove was burning logs and oak and pine timber from our mantel manufacture waste.

Installed in a reclaimed brick flemish bond built chimney breast with an original oak beam salvaged  from the house i think its set in the most perfect situation any stove could be.

The tiger plus is an amazing hard working stove with heat output of 6.9 kw its heats the whole middle rooms of our house so well it shuts the central heating thermostat down in the kitchen which reminds me to get it moved for next winter. With the price of gas and electricity we have saved a fortune over the winter after installing this little beauty, i know it sounds like sales patter id recommend this stove any day to any customer wanting a good stove.

The airwash system is a great improvement on the original Tiger Classic and we have the chimney lined with flue liner so it could not be any easier to control from a lazy flicker to a full on roaring Fire when our Labrador dog won’t move from in front of it playing dead.
