Good afternoon and first a big congratulations to Ripley Rangers under 7′s football team who Castfireplaces sponsor as they had a fantastic 6-2 win yesterday with my son Jaiden who was captain geting on the scoresheet again and his best mate Adam who hit his first hat-trick, also Coby deserves a mention adding 2 more to his tally infact the whole team played really well.
Any way back to fireplace matters and im in the office again all day tomorrow as our delivery vans are out delivering im adding new fireplace packages to our website again increasing the range we offer.
We have also found a fantastic supplier for spare glass for all our stoves which we will also be listing and this can be sent directly from them at a postal charge of £4.95.
So with new products ready for listing we are always adding new products and im very happy with with the goods we now have in stock for you all to purchase.
So its the turn of the wooden mantels in the morning which are going to be listed first as i work my way through these, we also have a few more items to be added to our clearance corner section.
We just never seem to find the time but i have set aside Tuesdays now as the day we add things to our website so thats my job tomorrow all day

Hello and a late evening again in the office after a very busy day and i have been chatting this evening to one of the fireplace fitters we use in London and the whole of the South today.
He does not work for Castfireplaces but we give his companies number to our customers looking for reliable professional fire installer around the South.

When you talk to different people about fireplace fitting wehther its getting advice from a company like Castfirepaces or speaking directly to your chosen fireplace fitter we all do things slightly differently.
We always say to our customers to chop the granite hearths below the level of the plasterwork to ensure you get a better finish there is nothing worse than seeing the ege of the hearth on display if no skirting is fitted.

Good morning im again at the fireplace showroom in Langley Mill this morning and have been joined by a new employee who has decided he is coming to help me out.
So let me introduce you to Jaiden Adams my seven year old son who has decided hes going to come to work with me on Saturday mornnings as long as i pay him.
Im not sure he is ready to move around fireplaces and stoves yet as they are very heavy but he has helped me light the firefox 12 stove in our showroom and switched on all the lights ready for our customers arriving.
So hes sat eating his lunch already at 10.05 am after he made both himself and me a pack up to take to work with us.
So customers visiting our showroom today will have the pleasure of meeting our newest employee who is very keen to help in any way he can.
After we leave here today its off to meet our suppliers for an afternoon of football and beer as we are going to watch Forest v southampton.
So its another Family day for us here today at Castfireplaces with a little work thrown in how could i ever have a better job

Myself and Rhian at Castfireplaces have a huge grin on our faces today and its nothing to do with fireplaces and stoves im afraid its something to do with our family and football.
As most of our regular blog readers will know Castfireplaces sponsors Ripley Rangers under 7s and today we have had a local derby with Codnor boys.
So we had all players available even Adam who is recovering from Chicken Pox came and lasted a full 40 minutes, credit where its due it was a fantastic attitude to have he’s like Jaiden doesnt want to let his mates down.
So Ripley Rangers are in the first season and are a new club and the first match this season was a 6-0 thrashing by Codnor, well i knew things had got better so todays match was payback time i hoped.
All the lads were ready to play football and looked great in the Castfireplaces football shirts and the match kicked off to be honest our side had all the attacking play and were camped in their half and then Codnor had a shot and it went in past our goalie.
So they match continued and we had a few corners and then Adam took a great corner with the ball making its way to Jaiden who got a leg to and steered it over the line, i was going mad like we had won the FA cup.
Halftime blew up and the lads had a drink and 5 minutes team talk before they were again back at them, Coby and Adam up front were again threatning until Codnor again scored i thought this was not going to be our day but our strikers had other ideas.
Coby was battling away up front and Adam took the ball off his foot and shot towards goal which the keeper got a hand too but it just went over the line and the Ref gave the goal.
Not to happy the Codnor manager was complaining but to be fair i did think it had crossed the line from where i was stood so time ticking away and chances at both ends and a few great clearances by Jaiden it was nearly full time.
The ball came to Adam in the box and he was brought down by a tackle and i thought penalty but the ref ignored it and let the goalkeeper take a goal kick then blew for full time.
Adam, Jaiden and all the lads were exhausted and Jaiden for all his efforts was given the Man of the Match trophy he did put one hell of a shift in today and seeing as he takes all the throw ins and can now throw it easily into the box its a good weapon to have and with a day with a little more luck Adam would have had a hat trick today.
So a little revenge for the Boys they have done really well and i promise to bring you some fireplace and stove news tomorrow i just couldnt resist telling you about our great family day.

So the highstreet stores again this morning will be open for business as the whole of the UK goes sales mad in a bid to catch a bargain which is normally over stocks and old models.

So it’s Christmas morning and santa has been and delivered the presents and of course we are closed this article has been written for our blog section a week ago.
Christmas time is important to our family business as we do close for the whole Christmas and New Year break to take advantage of a rest and have some quality family time.
So if you are wanting a new fireplace or stove we reopen on Tuesday 3rd January to deal with all your orders and enquires, as stated before we will answer emails and phonecalls wherever possible durning our festive break but we are not doing any fireplace delivery or collections until we return to work.

Happy Christmas Eve and this year is a huge change from last year everywhere was covered in snow and the weather was so cold and was like a picture from a festive postcard.
Well today it has been lovely I’ve been out for a long walk with the dog and the kids are so excited Jaidens nearly bursting at the seams.
So this year our lovely Tiger Plus stove is just sitting there is far to warm to have it running and all gather around it and watch a Christmas movie.
So customers again today have been busy ordering fireplaces and stoves which we will deliver in the New Year so the plans for Castfireplaces little family this year is an evening in playing games and watching television then get everything ready for Santa Claus.
Christmas always seems far more romantic with a real burning solid fuel fire with logs thrown on and a wintry scene outside the window I don’t know what it is about fire and everyone gathering round it really is the centrepiece of the house.
So instead we are having a games evening and playing family games together the fire will have to wait for another cold winters evening of which I’m sure they will be plenty to come

Good Afternoon and its our last day here at Castfireplaces as we finish for Christmas and im pleased to say everything has been completed now with our last local deliveries being done today and our last collection picked up from our house due to him running late.
So a new year approaching and some changes being made to our website with price increases im afraid and a whole new section on some new items.
We also have to make changes to our Modern Fireplaces section as we have stopped the range of Marfil micro marble suites we we sell and they have been replaced with some new perla suites.
These will be altered the 1st week of January to enusre they go straight on sale on our website.
Hopefully we will also be having back into stock our DEFRA approved stoves of which we now only have 4 left in stock with an arrival of Late January.
So these changes will be made behind the scenes then will all go live together in one go, we do laos have to add a new marble mantel and some new oak ones we have photos for its just that time has been so short and we have been busy in the office and factory nothing has got done except process customers orders.
Anyway im signing off now to watch a christams movie with my children knowing again Casfireplaces have delivered to everyone we promised a pre christams delivery too as normal we NEVER let our customers down unlike many others i could name and shame.
