Stove delivery to Spain Fireplaces to Ireland

Monday, November 21st, 2011

A large week of delivery of fireplaces and stoves here at Castfireplaces along with our usual weekly runs this week we are going to South Wales, North West, Newcastle and Durham and a local midlands run.
Apart from this we are delivering to a company in Kidderminster that our customer uses for a Firefox 8 Stove that is on its way to Spain.
We have also sent by pallet via our great suppliers a Crown and Brompton limestone fireplace and a Edinburgh Full Polished Fireplace all for solid fuel use complete with granite hearths which are now on there way to County Down Belfast.
So as you can see Castfireplaces really do sell fireplaces and stoves all over the UK these are normall undertaken by our own van delivery but we do not deliver directly to Northern Ireland due to ferry costs but im very sure given half a chance our Delivery staff would travel to Sunny Spain.
So if we do not deliver to your area in our own vans we can normally offer an alternative delivery service even if it has to come by pallet delivery or by some other means.
Right im shutting the pcs down now and finishing for the evening and relaxing before another busy day tomorrow

How do you transport your granite hearths

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

A strange question today as to how we deliver our fireplace hearths to our customers i asked what do you mean exactly how we load them into our vans or the fact that we transport them in our own vans i enquired.
To save my fingers wearing away typing the response it turns out Mr Fisher had ordered two granite hearths from another online company who sent them out by the dreaded pallet service which made them £10 cheaper than ours.
These arrived to Mr Fisher in many pieces as they were shrink wrapped onto a pallet face to face and as soon as they the lorry hits a bump they cracked straight away.
The care we take in transporting granite hearths is extreme they are individually wrapped and strapped either upright or on the side in our racks on the van.
This we have found enusres they arrive safely and over the years delivering fireplaces and stoves we have had so few damages we are really proud of our delivery service.
So our customer now has two hearths on order to Wigan next tuesday with the assurance that they will arrive in one piece so he can get them fitted next week.
So sometimes were not always the cheapest but you can rest assured we do have the best delivery service and its better to pay a little extra to make sure they arrive without damage and the upmost of care

Delivery times at Castfireplaces are important to us

Thursday, November 3rd, 2011

When you order a fireplace from Castfireplaces we will personaly give you a call to arrange delivery with you and advise days and then a few days before to confirm a delivery time.
We do give you an hour window that we try our best to hit but with traffic and accidents sometimes we can run a little out of this, one of our customers once commented on us travelling three hundered miles to them and arriving ontime within our one hour window and then said that Asda which was 5 miles away gave a two hour window and were late.
So these delivery windows are a good indication of when we will arrive with you but sometimes we do run little late or even early.
So if you need to be somewhere let us have a contact phone number and our freindly drivers will ring you en-route to ensure you do not have to be waiting around for us.
This is one of the reasons i believe shopping with us here at Castfireplaces for your chosen fireplace and stove is the best on or offline.
If your not 100 sure have a read through our testimonials page and see what our customers say about shopping with us we really are the best.

Delivery to Mainand UK Only for your Fireplace or Stove

Sunday, October 30th, 2011

Here at Castfireplaces our fireplace delivery is second to none and we deliver our own fireplaces and stoves by our vans and staff but we only offer this service to Mainland UK
We do not ship to any islands or Ireland etc as this can not be done by our own vans, for customers living in these places we can deliver our range of fireplaces and stoves to various shipping agents fro them to forward onto you.
last week we delivered to ship2me some items going to the Channel Isles and this week we are delivering to Graylaws in Skelmersdale for some items to be forwarded to Jersey.
The reason for this is the ferry cost and time taken to go over with these items it can not be done economically for our customers so we deliver them to shipping agents to be sent over with them.
So if you do require a delivery to one of these mentioned places find yourself a good shipping agent and we can deliver to them with minimum fuss and then your chsoen fireplace r stove will be sent on the scond leg of its journey by them.
If you do live in Mainland UK just let Castfireplaces sort out the delivery details and before long we will be arriving on your doorstep with a new fireplace or stove.

London Weekday Fireplace Delivery for Castfireplaces

Sunday, October 23rd, 2011

Good Evening enjoyed a lovely day off today with my family even my Brother Damian and Janet who has come up from Cardiff were out today we met up for Sunday Dinner after football with my son Jaiden.
Before i go any further HOORAY RIPLEY RANGERS WON what a result for the lads im very proud of them all
So onto work matters we have an un uusal delivery run this Tuesday to London as we have a large order going to a customer In SW London and we could not get it on any of our vans this weekend, infact these 5 fireplace packages along with another that needs to goto Ship2Me in Southampton will fill our Van to the brim.
Our customer requires these marble fireplace packages and cast iron fireplace packages quickly as the refurb team are running short ontime and need to complete for them to move back in.
So Steve has an early start to arrive in London for 8am so it can be unloaded and hopefully escape the traffic madness thats is London on any morning
Not something we normally do in the week but it makes sense to get it out the way so it does not fill all the van space for next weekend, so fingers crossed he gets there ontime and manages to escape to Southampton in reasonble time and im sure he will be there before they close at 5pm.
This along with numerous other delivery runs makes for another hectiuc week but we are well geared up for this at Castfireplaces its what we do best

Graphics ordered for fireplace delivery van

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

As some of you may know we have new fireplace delivery van on order to replace our high mileage Movano and this im told is arriving Friday this week to us.
Now here at Castfireplaces we dont like shiny white vans with no graphics on so as per usual we will be decorating it in our company logos and images that we have on all of our vans and websites.
These graphics have been ordered and are due to be fitted on th 27th October which will give us time to get the inside of the van sorted out with our lashing brackets and to installt he hearth mounts that we use to ensure your fireplaces and stoves arrive in one oiece when we deliver to you.
This should all work out perfectly so its ready for use on Sunday 30th Novemebr for its first trip out, we do like our customers to recognise our staff and vehicles when we arrive hence why we all have Castfireplaces branded clothing and all our vehicles are sign written in our company colours and logos.
This is so people recognise our vans and travelling the length and breadth of our country its also free advertising for our company.
So take a look at the images below of how our new van will look and im very sure quite a few people will see it arriving soon

New Fireplace Delivery Van being ordered Monday

Sunday, October 9th, 2011

As most of you will know we have had Paul our new fireplace and stove delivery man join our little firm and has has settled in very well and very quickly im pleased to say.
Anyway one of our delivery vans needs to be replaced and this will be a replacement for Pauls van so im sure he will be pleased, it is our trusty 06 reg Vauxhall Movano which is being replaced having covered 250000+ miles.
In all this time it has let us down once and that was when the crankshaft snapped which to be honest was an expensive repair but you can not account for that happening it was just bad luck aprt from that is have never missed a beat.
So we have had this van from 6 months old as it was ex-demo from Crown Vauxhall in Nottingham and has delivered 1000s of fireplace and stove orders over the 5 years we have had it.
Im very dissapointed to see it go and be replaced by a new shiny version but having reliable delivery vehicles is an absoloute must and having a van that could have gone to the moon and be on a return journey is just pushing it.
So im ordering it in the morning and it will take around a week to arrive so im also ringing our people who sign write our vans to sort out van graphics.
Of course new phots will appear once it arrives and im pretty sure many of you will be having it visit very soon with your new fireplaces or stoves

Castfireplaces new delivery driver recieves praise on 1st day

Thursday, September 29th, 2011

Good evening and what a gorgeous day it has been far to hot for driving around the country delivering fireplaces and stoves it sounds like i have been out on the road but the truth is ive been in the office most of the day and at the showroom.
I did do a local delivery which i wished i hadnt done as there were major roads problems and i was late back in the office.
Anyway todays blogs not about me its about our new driver Paul today was his first day with Castfireplaces delivering the gallery range of fireplaces and stoves we sell and heas been to Norwich and Kings Lynn way.
Not a nice trip for your first run out due to heavy traffic on the A47 and A17 but he came back in good spirits and seemed to have enjoyed his first day.
So my phone went and it was a text from one of our customers saying the fireplaces are stunning and Paul was great ive not yet passed on our customer comments but its nice to know on his first day our customer appreciate him.
Some new work tshirts have arrived today so he has been supplied with our company colours we all wear so people can recognise us when we arrive far better i think call me old fashioned but i believe in it.
Right im switching off the pcs now after another busy day and Steves out again tomorrow in Birmingham but off this weekend and with the weather as gorgeous as it has been hes planned that well

CCTV camera watching our fireplace van captures suspected car thief

Sunday, September 25th, 2011

At our home where we park our vans on the drive we had CCTV installed when we bought a new car but mainly because when we park our vans when loaded they contain £1000s of fireplaces and stoves all ready to be delivered to their new homes.
This is to ensure our security is up to scratch as we also have it fiited at the factory so if any one breaks in we have a chance of catching them.
Anyway one of our neighbours cars was broken into and the police came to see us as she knows we have cctv and sure enough we have captured images of him at 1.05 am on Friday morning just looking around our drive in between one of our fireplace delivery vans and our car.
The image is pretty clear and the police officer is very happy he came to see us and suggested we take a look for them to see if anything can be seen.
This is the second time now it will be used for police evidence and im glad to say im sure the theif saw our cameras as he shot off quite quickly without trying the doors on our van or car.
So not only are your fireplace orders safely delivered by us they are also very safe sat in my van on the drive and dont forget mr Thief you can.t come onto our property without being spotted

Castfireplaces has vacancy for Fireplace delivery person

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

Well i have posted an application this morning for our vacancy for a driver to work at Castfireplaces three days a week delivering our fireplaces and stoves all over the UK and within 15 minutes of it going online we have had 10 applications from people interested in this post.
Now i know jobs are scarce at the moment but i have been suprised by the amount of people showing an interest in our vacancy, but im very pleased people want to come and work for us.
We will be collecting CV applications this week and then conducting interviews next week with a view to filling the post asap, we will of course be showing our potential employees what we do here at Castfireplaces and how we offer a service that is second to none.
I don’t expect to have to train people in how to become the face of Castfireplaces that customers are greeted with when we deliver so we will only accept the best candidate for our job.
So if you would like to come and work for what i believe is the best fireplace retailer online send us your cv and you could soon be driving one of our sign written vans up and down the motorways of englad delivering fireplaces and stoves and representing Castfireplaces.
