As i said last week we have a huge amount of Cast iron fireplaces arriving to us next week and to be honest just in time too as we are out of Pembroke Black Fireplace and only have a few of the other items we stock left.
After such a busy week my job has been made easier in moving things around as alot of the crates we keep this items in are nearly empty which means we can remove them and replace crates with full ones and then just recrate all the oddments together.
So space will be made in the morning for the deliveries arriving Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
Im sure John from our suppliers will be sick of the Journey to Langley Mill by the end of the week, but i know he does appreciate our forklift and the amount of work we now do not have to do as anyone in the fireplace trade knows cast iron fireplaces are very heavy items.
We are also expecting a delivery of Jura stone mantels we have on order and i know Daz is busy this week making Oak Lincolns and Bedfords again just in time to replenish stocks to ensure our quick delivery service is kept up and running.
Right off to Stuarts to drop off a late order ive added to his van for a customer tomorrow (sunday) so they now have a stove to go with there Limestone Package and still will only pay 1 delivery charge saving them both money and time.
Thats why we keep so much in stock it makes us better than the rest

Sunday, February 14th, 2010Hi there happy valentines day to everyone just thought i would pop online and share with you something that has made me really smile today i have had an email from somebody asking if we can fit a fireplace if they purchase it from us so i enquired saying where are you re fitting and the reply came back Living Room.
Ha Ha Living room i thought are they trying to wind me up its not Aprils Fools day but i suppose thinking about it it makes sense they obviously require a fireplace in the living room.
After we had a laugh about it even our customer thought it was funny we found out they are in Keighley we said we can fit there no problem our local fitter who does alot of work for us we travel there and fit.
So all prices have been emailed and we hope to see if another of our great fireplaces will be finding itself a new home in somebodys dining room in Keighley and if not it certainly gave us a little smile and a laugh.
Right im off to wrap up a set of tiles i promised to send out to a customer to arrive before 9am Tuesday morning after he broke them showing his wife how they looked in the fireplace oh dear bet he has had ear ache after that.

Thursday, February 4th, 2010Well all is working well now we just have all the dimension tabs to add to our website which dumbo here forgot to do which is pretty useless when our customers need to find out fitting dimensions and chamber sizes for all our fireplaces,every last one is missing so we are hoping to try a bulk upload and see if that works fingers crossed hey.
All the new items i had listed failed to transfer too so they will have to be listed manually so it looks like i have another busy week next week adding to our site so we will have the largest most comprehensive range of fireplaces and Fireplace products on the net.
We still have the new JIG Category with all the range from Carron we intend to list so over the next few weeks i think our site will double in the amount of fireplaces and related products we have online.

Fireplace Stock Update as Goods Arrive
Wednesday, January 27th, 2010Hello what a busy little day we have had, we normally have deliveries on Wednesday and today has been no different we are pleased to say all items are now back in stock even though some mainly the Pembrokes are still low until next week.
Today we have taken delivery of the following
Lytton Highlighted Arched Inserts
Pembroke Black Fireplaces
Pembroke Full Polish Fireplaces
These items we had run out of so it is great to have them back in stock in time for our Norfolk and Norwich Run tomorrow and our North West Run on Friday.
As normal our fantastic suplliers got it right telling me when they were coming into stock so we can take forward orders and arrange delivery dates to suit.
Im sure sometimes they must get fed up of me asking when and how many are arriving but i know they understand how difficult it is to arrange deliveries and sort out orders so a Big thanks again for getting it Right it makes my job easier.
On top of this we had our normal weekly delivery of Hearths and cast fireplaces we dont keep in stock along with some gas inserts a few tiles,solid fuel kits and all other ordered items.
This afternoon was mainly taking up by stacking it all away and back in time to meet Bank Manager to sort out finances for buying our Factory which im pleased to say has all gone well.
So Really looking forward to getting things moving and dont forget New Website goes Live Monday Worldpay has all been sorted today so next week we have new website online too.

Featured Item for New Fireplace Website
Monday, January 25th, 2010On the front page of our new fireplace website we have a new featured product item which changes every week so customers can at a glance learn a lot of information about that particular weeks featured fireplace.
We may even discount it even further as a bargain to all our customers who visit our website and read through the site.
We have had a load of voucher codes organised for our website launch and will be offering a big promotion price crash to announce the new arrival (at long last) of what started out as an update then turned into a full site rebuild.
It really has been hard work getting it right and our web designer has put lots of effort into geting what i want after various templates were just not right.
Its a fine balance between it working simply but offering everything you need and want it to do but im 100% sure we have it right.
We are still awaiting WorldPay transaction testing to go live thats all that needs doing and a huge amount of Blog and article transfers but that wont take to long.
We will be having an article about features of the wenbsite and tomoorow i will add the first featured fireplace to our articles section for it to be ready to go live.
Really cant wait im so excited
Fireplace Stock Update on the Gallery Range
Sunday, January 24th, 2010Good news at last we have things moving again this week there is loads arriving from our fantastic Fireplace suppliers and we should be reasonably stocked and dont expect to be short of anything this week or till our main orders arrive over the next few weeks
This week i am told we have some Black and Full Polished Pembrokes (Our best selling Combination Fireplaces) arriving along with another load of solid fuel kits and even better news a batch of Lytton Highlighted inserts. Our Jubilees arrived last week so we can now relax again and offer accurate delivery times on these items now they are back in stock.
Wait for it the best News our good friend The Firefox 5 is now back in stock and we do have loads arriving next week which will see us back up to full stock and we did get more this week than we expected so we do have enough spare stoves to last this week till main delivery arrives.
Im so relieved all these items are back in stock so we can again resume our normal quick straight from stock collection and delivery service without having to label them in order of purchase to make sure customers get what they ordered in numerical order on a first come first served basis.
When we are fully stocked we never need to do this and just book them out with out worrying but over the past few weeks some fireplaces and stoves have been drip fed through just to keep the orders flowing.

Slight Delay in Email answering Fireplace Questions
Saturday, January 23rd, 2010Hi there sorry for the delay in answering Fireplace emails today (Saturday) i was out shooting till 5 pm ( Last Day of our Season not too good a day) and had renewed our Norton Anti Virus at Work on all our laptops and main pcs which meant it had upgraded in the morning and i forgot to import address book and lower our spam filter settings which meant most of our emails went to Spam Filter
When i spoke to Rhian at Lunchtime she said the phone had not stopped ringing but there had been only 1 email which is very odd for a weekend.
Anyway when i got home i quickly realised what i had done and emptied Spam folder and there they all were so i quickly answered all those with little apology and explanation as to why we were so late answering as we really do try to answer the all within two hours if not straight away.
Rhian had collected a nice little pile of Fireplace and Stove Orders and i was then driven to the Factory to meet some customers from Ramsay St Marys at 6pm at our Showroom
Mr and Mrs Hewlett again did not make it past our show piece surround the Oak Stourhead as they liked it straight away and both said thats the surround now we just need to choose the insert and after finding out they wanted a sollid fuel fireplace with a large burning area they opted for the Jubilee and Oak Stourhead Fireplace Package with extra deep back and solid fuel kit which makes it a good size for burning solid fuel.
This Back is only available with the Pembroke, Jubilee and the Henley so they were more than happy with the chosen fire and left saying they were glad they made the effort to come and see us and after seeing it in the flesh realised they had printed off the same option from our website with realising it just goes to show our pictures must give a good impression of the fireplace so have a look at the photo and see what you think

Tuesday, January 19th, 20105.30 AM this morning i was on the Road from Ripley in Derbyshire to Pudsey in Leeds for one of our legendary early morning delivery calls with a Firefox 5 Stove for a Customer who had ordered the day before asking if we could deliver very quickly as he needs to get it fitted this week.
As luck would have it we were going to Bridlington, Hull, Saltfleet, Wragby and Nottingham today so i told him the only way we could do it would be 7 AM Delivery which suited him fine as he was off to work at 8 so i dueley arrived early at 6.50 and unloaded it and then dissapeared into the thick Fog on my way to Bridlington.
On the way there i was thinking to myself how unique our delivery service is with its early morning calls, 1 hour timed delivery slots,weekend delivery to London and the South just to mention a few of the main points.
We do put a huge amount of effort into our delivery service making it the best to be found anywhere with all our products no matter how big taken into your home (not dumped outside or doorstep delivery) it really is unusual to find this level of service.
This i am sure is one of the main reasons and of course our prices is why many people order with Cast Fireplaces i can not think of any other company on or offline who comes anywhere near our service.
Yes it plays havoc with all our home lives especially the Sunday run which is not nice week in week out when others are out enjoying themselves on Saturdays but thats the service we have chosen to offer and we intend to continue with it.

Normal Fireplace service has been resumed
Friday, January 15th, 2010Well im glad to see the back of the snow and ice as today has seen the start of the big thaw it is still quite icy around our Fireplace factory but when i left there this evening it was turning to slush.
We have been to South Wales and Gloucs today delivering various stoves and fireplaces and are very pleased to report no further additions to Thursdays terrible day delivering it really is strange how 24 hours and a few hundred miles makes a large difference
We have had some Solid fuel kits arrive today that we were not expecting so all the orders we have on our files for solid fuel deliverys will now go out with all the relevant bits.
I was dreading not sending the solid fuel kits with all our orders as customers like to get the fire going once it has been installed and with it still being winter its nice to have the Fireplace on.
Also today we have had a small batch of the Firefox 5 stoves arrive to service outstanding orders but we now do have none spare until the 26th/27th Jan when our main delivery arrives.
It really will be nice to be able to offer our best selling stove again and replace our showroom model where a space is still reserved for it just as you walk through the door.
Anyway off out now to drop off a stove to a neighbour 10 doors away who has ordered a Tiger Plus after seeing mine running at home.
It really is a major selling point having one running for customers to see and feel the warmth they produce.
