So another week another new stove in stock now whilst they last we have only got 14 of these that have arrived for us and if theyr are anything like the Classic 8 stoves they are sure to go very quickly.
So exactly what is the DEFRA approved (pending) Firefox 8 Cleanburn stove i hear you ask, well it is based on our very popular Firefox 8 and now it has been tested by DEFRA to ensure it is capable of burning wood in a smokless zone.
The result is a stove that looks the same as the Firefox 8 but is cleaner for the atmosphere and will allow our customers in smoke controlled zones to burn smokless fuel and also wood.
So it looks the same with the robust look of a cast iron stove and a good sized area for burning the fuel in and with all good stoves a good sized glass so you can see the flames.
Made from premium grade cast iron it has air wash control and is also brick lined as all stoves should be.
Designed for a hard working life the firefox 8 stove packs enough heat output of 7.9KW to warm most rooms so stoke it p sit back and relax that when you are burniong wood you are not polluting the atmosphere
Take a look at the photo below and buy a Firefox 8 Cleanburn stove before we run out of stock

Thursday, October 13th, 2011Here at Castfireplaces we have started implimenting price rises on the range of multi fuel and defra approved stoves we sell and unfortunately the time has come to increase our prices on them.
The multi fuel stoves now have been increased in price but there is a little good news as Castfireplaces hold so much stock of them we thought it only fair to hold our prices until we have sold all the ones we have in stock at our current prices, the price rise is not the end of the world on average they are rising between £10 and £15 which is the cost price they have risen to us, we don’t work on large profit margins here and im pretty sure you will get the best price online still.
We dont offer free flue pipes or debirs plates which are off very poor quality to make our stoves look cheap we sell our products honestly here with prices that are hard to beat.
So we do have the stoves currently listed at SALE prices as the original price is what they will be selling at once all our stock is gone which looking at current sales rates will be within the next week or two.
So be quick and grab yourself a bargain by buying a stove from Castfireplaces.

Firefox 8TD Twin Door stove at Castfireplaces
Wednesday, October 5th, 2011Following on from yesterdays post its time to introduce another new stove to our range and today its the brand new Firefox 8TD Twin Door Stove from Gallery Fireplaces that joins our ever growing range.
This stove has been manufactured because the customer feedback has asked for a twin door stove which is smaller then our huge output firefox 12 stove.
You do need quite a large opening for the 12 so this has been introduced for customers wanting a normal sized stove with a good heat output but one with two doors.
This new stove has a good heat output of 8.4kw and with two doors you can get a good sized log in it too so can cut down the refuelling time aswell.
This stove can heat almost any room with its maximum output so it will be attractive to customers wanting a good amount of heat from a twin door stove.
Made from premium grade cast iron it has brick lining and airwash and has air intake controls at the bottom of each to door to change from a lasy flicker to a roaring fire.
We have these in stock today ready for customer orders and collections we will also be having them on show in our showroom so come over and take a look there are very few places with these on show.

Get a Multi fuel stove before winter and avoid fuel costs
Saturday, September 24th, 2011Reading the paper last night after i had finished work i read an article about fuel poverty and the amount opf people that were facing a winter of deciding whther to heat their homes or pay other bills.
With gas and electric bills for an average house of around £1300 its about time people chose another alternative to heating the homes we live in.
At Castfireplaces we sell many stoves and they have never been as popular as our sales go through the roof.
A Stove is one of the best forms of heating and is one of the most efficent ways to heat a room and with the multi fuel stoves we sell return efficiency of around 78% you can see you really get good heat output for the fuel put in.
if you can source cheap logs or even free it will cut your fuel bills drastically over the winter months and even burning coal is cheaper than having the boiler running and also you have the added effect of looking at a real fire its quite hypnotic.
So before we get into the real cold months ahead consider installing a new multifuel stove from our range and then sit back and count the savings from your enegy suppliers, it really is time to act before the Winter arrives
Busy Day of Stove Collections at Castfireplaces
Wednesday, September 7th, 2011Well what a busy day im still sat in the office at nearly 9pm after a very busy day here at Castfireplaces.
We have had 6 different customers to our showroom and factory today at Langley mill collecting various stoves from the range we sell.
We have sold both Carron and Gallery Firefox and Tiger stoves to these customers and as stoves will fit simply into the boot of a hatchback car they are our most collected item here at Castfireplaces.
Three of our customers came to view originally but they all took the stoves away with them as we keep them in stock and saving between £20 and £50 delivery as an average price it makes them very cheap.
We are very competitive on our stove prices if not the cheapest to be found so when you add the fact they can be can be collected at no further charge you can appreciate they are very cheap.
With us being ideally located in Langley Mill just off the M1 we are also within very easy range for our customers to come and visit us with the minimum of travelling long distances.
So if you wish to come and view our collection of gallery fireplaces and stoves just give us a cal we will be very happy to meet you at our showroom
Chimney lining kit when do we use that
Saturday, September 3rd, 2011Here we sell all the components you require when fitting a stove whether it be a small length of vitreous flue down to twin wall flue systems for when you have no external flue.
Now a question i have been asked quite alot recently is do you have to have a flue liner installed when fiiting a new stove, now i know the majority of fireplace shops tell customers it is required so they can bump up the fitting and supply costs but we are a little more honest here.
Before you buy any stove have your chimney swept and tested and the sweep will tell you if its all ok and can be used for solid fuel use.
If its fine you only require a register plate and a length of vitreous flue and rely on the chimney to take the fumes away naturally.
Now if the chimney is faulty it will need to be lined and the cheapest way for this is with one of our chimney lining kits which is dropped down the existing opening and connected to the flue pipe from your stove and suspended from the chimney pot.
We also use them when the chimney has excessive draw as it hen runs on the optimum flue size and will create better control over it.
So if you are unsure as to whether you need a flue lining kit just drop us an email or give us a call we really are here to help
Why has my wood burning stove lost control
Friday, September 2nd, 2011Good morning im writing this whilst sat on a sunbed on my iphone i thought it would be a good idea to post a blog whilst i was on holiday to let you know how warm it is and the fact we are enjoying ourselves so much.
It seems you have been busy buying stoves and fireplaces and we have have answered numerous emails to keep the business ticking over.
Anyway todays post is about an email i read this morning as to why one of our previous customers from a few years ago has found his firefox 5 stove can not be controlled now by the air intake at the bottom and seems to roar away all the time.
Im pretty sure i know the answer to this as i asked him if the rope seal was intact and he told me it had frayed so he cut it back and glued it back in.
Now this has left a gap of around 4″ near the side of the door which basically is letting air into the stove and coupled with the fact the rope is now flat after many years of use the seal is now nowhere near as good as it should be and air is leaking in all round.
I emailed him back and pointed himtowards the Replacement Door Rope Seal Kits confident of the fact this will cure his problem.
Right back off to the sun and the beer only a few days left im afraid
Bye for now
