A nice question to answer and yes we really do sell gallery fireplaces at the prices we sell them at no copies no rejects just genuine gallery fireplaces at the best prices.
I was asked the above question about the Gallery Pembroke Black Fireplace package for solid fuel use with the extra deep back today.
All these items are in stock to ready to take away or be delivered so when i told the customer it was £570 delivered to Evesham this Friday they were very happy.
The lady who ordered asked me again if there were the same ones that appear in the Purple Gallery brochure as she had been quoted £1100 from her local fireplace shop and it would take a minimum of two weeks for it to arrive to them.
Being wary of using the internet to place an order she found our contact details very easily and called us to ask the questions and find out how long delivery would take.
Also with us being open on a sunday when others are shut she found it great that she could speak to someone then and there.
Always one to offer the best customer service its all part of our normal job but we realise how frustrating other companies can be who do not return emails or calls but they thats there loss.
So another order in the bag loking forward to tomorrow now for our new vehicle

Sunday, February 28th, 2010Pine Lincoln Mantel 48″
Sunday, February 28th, 2010Hi Mark
The fireplace was delivered by your very friendly driver at 8.15 on Sunday morning thank you. I gather he left home at 5 a.m. so please thank him for me!
I have been genuinely impressed by the service we’ve had from you. Not only did we save a considerable amount of money compared to our local fireplace shop (even with your delivery charge), you were extremely helpful and responsive and we received our mantel-piece so quickly, much faster than our local shop could manage.
Had we found you before we ordered the stove and hearth I would certainly have bought everything from you.
You live and learn!
I wish you the very best of luck with your business

Help needed with Oak Fireplace Mantel
Saturday, February 27th, 2010A customer today has rung me today with one of the strangest queries and situations i think i have ever answered.
He originally enquired about the Crown and Oak Lincoln fireplace from our wooden fireplace packages section which was simple enough as he was asking about dimensions and opening sizes etc.
He then told me he was having the inside of his house insulated with a foam which is 110mm thick with a plaster skim on it and would it affect the fitting of the fireplace.
He is using this fireplace for solid fuel use but when i explained that with the brick work to the chimney breast and also the insulation of 110mm im pretty sure there will be not enough depth on the cast back to vent it into his chimney.
We continued to sort out methods of fixing and i cam up with the idea of fitting the cast insert to the wall in the normal way using rope and sealeing it to the wall and then clad arond the sides of the cast with the insulation then we will custom make a mantel with a reverse rebate of 110mm (inside legs longer than outer legs) which will then fit flush with the plaster work and also hold in place the cast insert.
Im pretty sure this will work and he is coming to see me tomorrow afternoon at the factory to discuss that and another fireplace for another room.
So with us being able to custom make another bespoke mantel and a little bit of knowledge gained from numerous years in the Fireplace trade it looks like we could have a solution.
So if he does order ill keep you all posted on how it works out and take photos of what will be a very strange looking mantel untill its fiitted.
Really looking forward to Monday we have new company vehicle arriving i will tell you all more then.
More Fireplaces arrive at our Factory
Friday, February 26th, 2010Today we have had another delivery of Fireplaces to us at our Factory in Langley Mill and im not sure where next week all what is arriving is going to fit as were already very well stocked.
Im sure i will be moving things around with our forklift creating space and restacking items so we can get it all in.
Even with the vans loaded for this weekends runs to London it was still a push to squeeze the Forklift back inside behind one of the Roller Shutter Doors.
Next week we have crates of items arriving that have been on order for what seems an age we do monitor all sales patterns so we can try and second guess which items we are going to sell to make sure we have enough in stock without phoning up suppliers hourly to add things to our weekly order.
Im sure Myself and Jim have it right now as we dont tend to run out of many items and seem to have things delivered just at the right time.
Looking through the crates today alot are nearly empty and we were down to one Celtic Black Fireplace in stock before todays supplies arrived now that is cutting it fine so it just prooves we do have our re-ordering levels about right.
Right im off to take the dog a walk before switching off for the Evening its already 7.30 pm and ive been at work since 6.30 am this morning there is no rest for the wicked
General Fireplace News and Updates
Thursday, February 25th, 2010Well i managed to sort out Mr C’s order for his Black 54″ Palmerston which is now ordered and on its way to us from our fantastic suppliers after yesterdays article about a 12 week wait from another online company.
I have been to said suppliers today to collect a few items that were needed for another rush job for a customer in Solihull im delivering to in the morning after he came to our showroom yesterday he ordered a Jubilee and Brompton and a Hamilton and Brompton package
The Hamilton we didnt have in stock but i collected it today and is being delivered in the morning at 8am so they can start fitting.
We do try our best to work with our customers and if we can get it there in what sometimes is very short notice we will thats one of the reasons why we keep so much in stock we really are a fireplace Cash and Carry.
It now brings me on to website update news which has somewhat stalled the last couple of days as we just seem to have been so busy, i have approved the new dimension layout which we are going to test tomorrow on a few items and see what our customers think before rolling out to all our items and im pleased to say it will have its own tab like we first mentioned and how it was on our old website.
Im really pleased about that and for a while i dint think it would be ok but ive tried a formaty out on the Black Pembroke Fireplace Package and it works perfectly on there so all is good.
So expect this and other new items to be finished by the end of next week when im pretty sure we should have everything done.
Can you get me a Black Palmerston Mantel
Wednesday, February 24th, 2010Early this evening at 6.30 pm we had a call from a Mr C in Herefordshire asking if we have a 54″ Black Palmerston cast iron surround in stock and when is the earliest we can deliver.
This is not a stock item for us as they weigh a ton and are quite fragile being a full cast iron surround so we order them in when ordered from our website.
As our suppliers close at 5pm i can not find out until the morning if we can get one in time for next Fridays Devon, Gloucs and South West run, after enquiring with him whether he was in a rush he told me he had ordered one form another company at the Start of December and they still had not delivered it.
I told him it would have come from China quicker than that and he laughed and i now we have had some of them in the last few weeks and are not aware as to if they are short in supply or out of stock.
If i were the said D***** Fireplace company i would be ashamed of myself not being able to turn around an item within nearly 12 weeks its disgusting service and the type of cowboy antics that give online retailers a bad name.
So hopefully i will be able to get hold of the item and deliver next week he certainly seemed happy that we are going to ring him in the morning and let him know either way he obviously has had no customer service from them either.
Well thats what makes us different here at Cast Fireplaces we care about the service we offer and customers are valued when shopping with us so why would you shop anywhere that does not offer this.
Jubilee and Brompton Limestone
Wednesday, February 24th, 2010Fireplace Dimensions are soon to be added
Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010At long last we are ready to start adding all the dimensions to our Fireplaces and Fireplace Packages that were lost in our big website switch over.
We have not forgot they were missing i was keen to have them on a seperate tab so it does not clutter up or item page and as from our feedback from customers they do not like too much information on one page so we have been working on a template to get them right and today we have had the eureka moment we have been after and i will start to add them to our stoves and Combination fireplace categories tomorrow.
Chris in the meantime is still working on the perfect page layout for all our packages where we have multiple mantel choices.
I do not want to bodge it like a few other sites i have seen where it doesn’t line up or images are moved because of the way the page has been set out.
We do have on our website a few strange diagrams we have been trying out with different layouts so if you come accross some at the moment ignore the measuremants they are only there for testing.
So the final phases are being added and im around half way through listing all the new products and im very pleased with the way things are looking so keep checking back to see how we are getting on
Bolton Highlighted Arched Fireplace Insert Photos Sent
Monday, February 22nd, 2010Today i have recieved a package through the post marked Fragile Photos please do not bend. As soon as i saw this i began to wonder what it was as it was addressed to Our Company name and not me.
When recieving mail like this your mind goes into overdrive and i soon had this padded envelope open and all was revealed.
A few weeks ago we delivered a Bolton Highlighted Fireplace and Hearth to a Mrs Hathaway from Amlwch which is right at the top of the Isle of Anglesey and the letter and photographs were from her.
“Dear Mark Adams
Thankyou so much for all your help, i am very pleased with ny Bolton Highlighted Fireplaces to which is now installed please find enclosed photos of it fitted”
She also asks if we can supply replacement ashpan and grate for another fireplace and asks general cleaning advice for the Bolton.
Also enlcosed are 6 different photos of the fireplace working away burning logs and various different stages of fitting the fireplace.
It just goes to show how much thought is put into responding to us and the fact they have taken the time to thank us and even having photos processed and sent to us too.
We really appreciate all feedback given to us and are always striving to make our customer service second to none so thanks again to all of you that do send us emails and i really do enjoy the odd letter or so and we always appreciate the time and effort you have taken to respond to us.
All your comments are displayed on our website so future customers can see just how good we really are
Do you sell Genuine Gallery Fireplace Products
Sunday, February 21st, 2010A strange question i know but today we were asked whether the fireplaces we supply were genuine Gallery Fireplaces products, after confirming to the person on the phone that we are Gallery Stockists and that all the fireplaces we supply are the genuine article they explained a little further.
They were enquiring as to whether a Tiger Multi Fuel Stove they had seen on our website was infact the correct article.
It turns our they had visited a fireplace shop in London and they had told them they had read an article in the Fireplace trade magazine that internet companies have been selling the Tiger stove copy which is not approved for solid fuel use and thats why they are so cheap.
The actual article was about another brand of stoves not Gallery Stoves and basically they had only copied the design of the door and never made any suggestion internet firms were to blame.
It is all still wrong as huge amounts of money are spent on development and for some dodgy company just to copy an item is wrong, anyway there was a huge pile of these doors and stoves that had been broken up for scrap and the problem had been solved.
According to Mr London Fireplace salesman this is why internet based companies are selling Tiger stoves so cheap.
Well let me tell you he is wrong we only ever sell 1st grade genuine products and the reason we are cheaper than the rest is because we buy in larger quantities and do not work on huge margins thats the only reason why our prices are cheaper.
So infact the same Tiger Stove you see sat in their or even our showroom is the same tiger stove that will arrive delivered to your home no ifs no buts just genuine items at the best prices simple.
