Well what i job but to be honest it did not take as long as i thought it would for those of you who don’t know what i mean it has been stock take today which has to be done once a year.
Our delivery arrived this morning at 9.15 am which was quickly unloaded and added to the correct piles then after they had left out came the printed stock shhets we use and i went into counting mode.
As i had a good tidy up last week everything was in order and the correct place it should be so i worked my way through all the cast iron inserts of which we have over 220 in stock i can tell you and finaaly made my way through to the tiles we keep in stock which i can also state we have 56 sets in stock.
I must admit i didnt realise but we do seem to have more in stock than even i thought and will scale back a few items so there isnt so many.
we are not cutting back on the variety of items we keep in stock just some of the numbers like 56 sets of tiles and 22 Lincoln mantels
Some items like the wooden surrounds we make so to have so many is stupid really seeing as we can make them anytime we need them.
We also have some items we will be adding to our clearance section like Radley Blacks with various surrounds.
Also we have various odd firebaskets and gas inserts which all need to be sold at bargain prices so keep your eyes peeled this week in thats section for some great bargains our stock take has shown up
