Just a quick update as to the amount of Stoves we have in stock we are still very low on certain models and in particular the Tiger Plus Stove and The Firefox 8 Stove which im told are arriving towards the end of this month.
We are expecting the Firefox 5 Stove into stock next week as its been out of stock since well before Christmas.
We have taken delivery two days ago of some Firefox 8 stoves but they have now all gone and we are expecting a few more next week too.
Some good news though we have plenty of Tiger stoves both in Classic and the new DEFRA Clean Burn version we also have in stock the Firefox 5cb clean burn stove and the Carron Matt Black 7.2Kw Stove.
We expect the shortages to last a couple more weeks as the containers start arriving and deliveries will arrive asap, its just frustrating for us taking pre orders for customers and then having to sort out in date ordered too for who to deliver to first.
So get a move on China Shipping Company we have customers waiting all over the UK for these stoves to arrive so we can get them delivered so our customers can get them installed before the cold weather returns.

Stoves are due back into stock next week
Wednesday, January 12th, 2011Defra Approved Stove Section added to our Website
Sunday, September 5th, 2010As with all things slight alterations are made to our website to make it easier for our customers to use and we have therefore decided to have a new section on our website for the range of stoves that have been approved by DEFRA for burning wood in smokless free zones.
This section is entitled Defra Approved and is where the Large Carron stove has now been moved too.
This section will be growing shortly to add the stoves which we are taking into stock mainly the Firefox 5 Cleanburn Stove, Tiger Cleanburn Stove and the Kooga Cleanburn Stove.
Also from the Carron range is a smaller Carron stove this will be added shortly too.
The advantages of a DEFRA approved stove are the fact that customers who live in smokless zones can now buy Stoves from us at fantastic prices that can used legally burning wood in there homes.
This has been quite restrictive prior to these new stoves arriving and have previously been very expensive, so keep an eye out on this soon to be growing section as we will be adding them as soon as we take them into stock which im told is not too long.
Most stoves will be added tomorrow so customers can preview them prior to them arriving and get a first glimpse at the photos and features of what we expect to become very popular items.
I have seen a preview of the new Pnik Gallery Brochure and they are featured in there so gallery themselves seem intent on pushing them too.
We are running low on Lytton and Jubilee Fireplaces and Firefox 5 Stoves
Monday, December 7th, 2009Well what a mad month we are having and the gallery group the people whose range of Fireplaces and Stoves we stock are very busy too.
As always at this time of year we always seem to run short of certain items due to stock shortage us here at Castfireplaces are in a better position than most fireplace shops as we do hold large amounts of stock at our factory.
However this has not proved enough and again we have run out of Firefox 5 Stoves, we also only have 2 Lytton Highlighted fireplaces and 3 Jubilee fireplaces left till after Christmas infact the new year.
Gallery themselves also have none of these items till January so thats it really 1st come 1st served gets the last of thses items.
Im not 100% sure why they have run out im told it is down to order levels and they did not expect to move some many in the Credit crunch crisis.
Well that seems not have hit our trade too hard and as we have seen a large shift again to solid fuel stoves and fireplaces this seems to have carried on right through “Heating Season”
Last week we had hearth deliverys to replace all our sold stock and these arrived just in time as we were down to the last few in stock.
Still only two weeks to go till Party day with the Fireplace Lads looking forward to it again a full day boozing in my home town of Nottingham.
Anyway if we do run out completely of any fireplaces or stoves i will let you know and offer an alternative to the option you have chosen so fingers crossed it wont be too bad but at the rate there going we will be out of lyttons and Jubilees by the end of this week but what can i do about it they are on the way from China.
Two more Limestone fireplaces join our every growing range
Saturday, October 31st, 2009On Friday last week we spent most of the day photographing new Limestone and Timber Mantel packages for our website.
These are all products that we will be featuring when we get 5 minutes to list them.
We have two new oak timber surrounds and two new limestone surrounds that we have put together as packages with various arched and tiled fireplaces to offer them for sale at discounted prices.
we have also taken a lot more photos of one of our best selling timber mantels the Pine Large Corbel which is infact a Jig fireplace that we have stocked for years. This will now be sold agin with a selection of arched and tiled fireplaces and will compliment our already large range.
We are also in the process of finalising a deal which will see a good deal more Multifuel Stoves join our range of Tiger and Firefox stoves.
I have also taken delivery of brand new gallery brochures and am pleased to tell you the Firefox 12 Stove now has a boiler option capable of heating up to 8 radiators as well as a good room size anyway more of that tomorrow when we do full feature on new stove items.
So keep on reading our articles sedction to see what great new items Castfireplaces has to offer
Late Night viewing and Collection of our Fireplaces and Stoves
Monday, October 26th, 2009As a lot of our website visitors know we do late night viewings at our showroom in Langley Mill and tonight we have had a customer come and view a Firefox 5 Stove and then take this item home with him in his car. Earlier today a customer drove from Northampton to view and went home with a Firefox 8 Stove
I have also done an out of hours delivery in Derby of another Firefox 5 so I am now sat in my office writing this article before I switch pc off.
It has been local delivery day today and I have been to Heanor to drop off Pembroke Full Polish package and then back to the workshop for a building contract company from Slough who came to collect a Coronet and Brompton package so I have had a busy little day running round delivering and arranging collections.
I have done some price alterations later this afternoon on our website update so another few days doing that and it will be ready to go live I could do with starting to work nights too to get it all done.
We normally try and finish for 8 pm but its now 9.30pm and I still have a couple more invoices to do before I switch off and open up a tin of Jupiter beer that Nina brought me when I got to work this morning I had this comment from her
Hi Mark,
We had a great trip to the UK, it was an easy to find meeting point and it was indeed lovely to see you as well.
We arrived late at home (11 pm Belgian time).
Thanks Mark, see you later.
Regards, Nina
I thought I worked late sometimes but it’s all in a days work here at castfireplaces
Right I am off to get a beer now then walk the dog.
Today we have sold all Firefox Gallery Fireplaces Stoves and Tiger Plus
Saturday, September 26th, 2009Today is stove day Saturday we have sold every type of Firefox stove we sell and a Tiger Plus we only now need to sell the Tiger Stove to complete the full set.
This is very strange we have sold 1 of each up until 16.30 when I am sat writing this article I am not sure if this has happened before but we have been putting a lot of optimisation work into the range of stoves we offer and this has been showing results over the last few weeks.
I am really pleased we have increased our stock levels of all stoves we supply to keep up with demand this now sees us with around 40 – 50 stoves in stock at any one time which as you can imagine takes up a fair amount of room but we do double stack them to avoid us tripping over them.
Over the last few weeks we have seen a lot of people collect our stoves as they can simply be loaded in the crate into most hatchbacks and all estate cars so our customers are being canny and saving the delivery charge.
In this times of financial turmoil it makes sense to shop around for the best price and to be able to come and view and then take away sets us apart from our competitors.
We are proud of the way we operate our business and will never charge people to collect like we discovered a company doing last month so keep your money in your wallet and come and collect one of Cast Fireplaces great range of Tiger and Firefox Gallery Stoves we really do have them all in stock to view then take away along with 100s of fireplaces in stock
Tiger Plus Multi Fuel Stove is best selling gallery fireplaces stove again
Friday, September 4th, 2009Stoves well what a month of sales we have had for our Multi Fuel Stoves we have sold multiples of every one of the gallery range of stoves we supply which include the Firefox and Tiger brand of stoves.
The most popular selling one this month is the Tiger Plus Stove
I know we have featured this stove before but they are that good I’m sure it is worth running over its main features again.
All the stoves we supply are bricked lined and are made from premium grade cast iron and have features such as air wash that is now standard on most good stoves.
The tiger plus is a stove that is perfect in proportion and its main feature is large glass door which allows a good view of the fire when running and with the glass display lets a lot of heat come directly into the room.
It can heat a room around 75m2, as a primary heat source so is no slouch s a means to provide heat.
The stove can burn for up to 10 hours without refuelling when burning a suitable fuel and is truly multi fuel so you can burn wood, coal, coke, peat, anthracite or smokeless fuels.
Each stove comes with choice of handles in Black or silver and even comes with heat resistant mitten.
As normal all our stoves are tested to European Standard EN13240 so they are ready to fit in any home without any worry they have been tested and are 77% efficient and have controllable heat output of 2KW – 6.2KW.
With winter around the corner there has never been a better time to install a new stove so take a look at the stoves section on our website and get yourself a real fire to warm you this forthcoming Winter.
Forest Win What a fantastic day at Cast Fireplaces
Saturday, August 29th, 2009Well what a great day at long last Forest have beaten Derby and I am celebrating, a lot of my friends are Derby fans so they will be in for some stick. Funnily enough we do a Fireplace called The Derby I have often thought about changing its name as that’s what is called by Gallery when they first produced it. It is rather an ornate fireplace and it was dropped from the gallery range a few years back but because it was a good seller we decided to keep stocking it and have done so ever since.
You cant buy this fireplace from many retailers and it is now only available in a black leaded finish which really makes the intricate casting details really stand out, so if you are looking for something more busy take a look at this great cast iron combination fireplace.
Rhian has been a little busy bee in the office today and has collected a nice pile of orders ready to arrange delivery on Tuesday for the following weeks.
Stoves again prove top be very popular and as we have said we have doubled stock levels to ensure consistent flow to avoid waiting times infact last week we even supplied a Firefox 12 to a local chimney sweep who could not wait for the trade suppliers as they were out of stock even our rep often jokes we keep more stocks than them of certain items.
This morning proves why we do this as we had an early call to our showroom to view our stock and Mr Darby (I knew the omens were good today) duly went away in his van with a Pembroke full polish gas package so if you visit our factory you will be amazed at the range of items we keep in stock for collection so if you wish to visit it is viewing by appointment only just ring me to arrange
Off to torment my mates now it’s long overdue
We are ready for visitors on Sunday to Fireplace and Stove Showroom
Saturday, August 1st, 2009We are all ready for our numerous visitors tomorrow to our factory to view our fireplaces. We have taken the day off today and have been out to Drayton Manor with the kids.
It has been busy on our website with orders coming thru so sorry to those that tried to ring and got no reply.
We have had a massive run on stoves again this past two weeks and have developers buying them, we are again sending three Firefox 5 Multi Fuel Stoves and flue pipes to Ireland on Monday or Tuesday by Pallet.
We do not deliver ourselves to Ireland because we don’t have enough items going that way to make it economical when we can send a pallet for £80 plus VAT.
When we send by pallet we always make sure the item is well wrapped but we never send goods to Mainland UK by pallet always by our own dedicated delivery service.
As it’s the start of the Month again I will be featuring all our best selling items for the last month and looking at the figures again we have 1 really odd winner. I love it when the unexpected wins it makes it less boring so keep your eyes out over the next few days for these items.
As they always have photos it brightens up the article section too and offers our customers a chance to view other items they may not have seen in the main sections.
Firefox 12 Multi Fuel Stove is Junes Featured Item
Tuesday, July 7th, 2009This Months best selling Multi Fuel Stove is the Firefox 5 but because I featured it last month its pointless doing it again so I am going to feature the Firefox 12 Multi Fuel Stove we had a busy 2 weeks (Due to holidays) selling various stoves which is strange to say the weather has been so warm and the sales for the Firefox 12 stove could have been better as we only sold one, I should really entitle this post the Worst selling stove of the Month as that’s what it was.
This is not due to it being unpopular as normally it is one of our strongest sellers but I must say I am a little glad because anyone who has had one of the beasts delivered knows how heavy they really are.
Anyway here are a few details about this stove
It is a double door stove that is easy to open that then gives a burning area as to what seems you could fit a small tree on to. It has a controllable heat output of up to 12KW and is brick lined and comes with controllable secondary airwash system.
As with all our stoves it is approved to European EN13240 Standard and has an efficiency rating of 79%, which is good for a solid fuel appliance.
Made from cast iron its quite simple in design and boasts two large doors which give you a good view of the flames through the Glass. It can be riddled from the outside of the stove so it can be de-ashed without it all coming into the room and then simply just remove and empty ash pan.
With a stove of this size it can heat large rooms as a primary heat source on the coldest of nights and with prices from £475 there has never been a better time to buy this great hardworking stove now before the prices go up as they always do when it comes to October then sit back and relax and know that your gas bill will be reduced and let the Multi fuel stove provide a great cheap heat source for any cold room.
