It looks like the Firefox 5 Multi Fuel stove is again going to be in short supply in the run up to Christmas we are due a small delivery at the end of November and we have sold the last one we have in stock to a customer in Lincoln on Thursday we did have over 20 in stock in the last week of October but they have now all been sold in we are awaiting them arriving from China.
We did double the amount of Stoves we have in stock but sales of the Firefox 5 have again gone mad and left our suppliers without stock too even after they had ordered extra in too after last years fiasco when we ran out of all stoves.
Luckily this year it is only the Firefox 5 upto now which is in very short supply.
We do have plenty of Firefox 8s and 12s in stocks and also have plenty of the Tiger Classic and Tiger Plus so it is not all doom and gloom on the stove front yet but the way things are going i expect to run short of all of those too before santa arrives.
So basically my advice is if you are thinking of buying a Multi Fuel Stove please bear this in mind and order as soon as you can both toget it delivered and also to ensure it can be fitted in time for Christmas too i know it sound daft but fitting dates are running short too and we only have 3rd week in December left now for all our local fits.
We are taking forward orders for the remaiing firefox 5 stoves we have coming into stock so we will again be taking forward orders on Monday when i know how many we have available.
Just to add insult to injury the price of the stoves are due to rise 1st week in December as we impliment gallery price increase across the whole range so take advantage of our pre ordering of the Firefox 5 stoves and we will honour the price at the time of order

I feel like i have done someone a good deed today my first phonecall of the day was from a customer in Beverley near Hull who enquired as to whether they could come and collect a Firefox 5 Multi Fuel Chamber Suite as they had ordered one from there local fireplace shop and had arranged a fitter who was coming tomorrow to fit.
After calling the shop to find out what time it was being delivered today they were told it would not be there for another two weeks so they were very unhappy. They came across us via google and rang as soon as we opened.
Luckily for them we do keep this suite in stock and had 1 left available so they were here just before lunchtime and we loaded the suite into their van and off they went saying how pleased they were to able to finish decorating after fireplace had been fitted.
Now im not here to offer wisdom but it seems normal to me to have Fireplace or Stove delivered well before fitter is due so it can be checked it is all present and correct and is what you want.
Leaving it till the last minute can create problems so please bear this in mind if you are wanting to order a fireplace or stove.

Another very busy day here at Cast fireplaces has seen two customers collecting Firefox 5 Stoves again one from Breaston in Nottingham which is fairly local but the other customer Mr Lawson was from Street in Somerset who called in on his way back from Congleton to collect.
Both customers were amazed at the amount of stock we keep and were very happy to take the stoves away after viewing them in our showroom.
Another customer this morning we collected from Heanor to bring him to our showroom as he does not have a car and was going to walk.
I said give me 5 minutes and I will come and pick you up to save your legs and he gave me some directions where to collect him from.
On the way back in the van we were chatting about the internet and how strange it was he found us searching on google for fireplaces and was surprised to find a shop 2 miles from his house offering the Pembroke Full Polish Fireplace Package at a price that he confirmed was the cheapest online and was amazed we were so close.
Fifteen minutes later he was on his way back home after declining a lift back he had ordered his new fireplace and its being delivered on Monday for him how is that for service.
So all in all another set of happy customers and Rhian has been hard at work in the office too, I am off again tomorrow watching football and then delivering in London on Sunday so if you do ring the office this weekend the lovely Rhian will look after you. Off for a beer now I deserve it.

Somebody ringing me asking if we do wooden fenders has stumped me today.
A fender is an item that sits in front of the hearth as a decorative item I have seen many fancy ones in cast iron and brass and plenty of antique ones in wood.
We said we could manufacture one fro oak to match the hearth size but then she explained she wanted barley twists and it to be very ornate.
This is not the sort of job we can do so for the first time in a long while we could not help them out I pointed them in a few directions as to where they could get this made.
Collection of Stoves again today has been popular with two people collecting both Firefox 5 stoves with 500m flues. One customer was from Stoke and the other from Stone strange that there only a few miles apart and they arrived 20 minutes apart so it made me smile thinking two separate people who don’t know each other both driving down the A50 with identical stoves and flues in the back of their cars how odd.
I have been busy at the Factory this morning unloading vans full to the brim with fireplaces that we have on order. A mountain of gas inserts have arrived too so I have been there since 8.30 am this morning unloading and stacking, and loading our smaller van for trip around the East and West Midlands on local deliveries tomorrow.
Rhian has again been toiling in the office and I was given a pile of orders to arrange delivery with along with a chicken sandwich when I returned at 2.30pm.
So I am planning our Delivery Runs now for Friday and the weekend.
I am not sure where this month has gone again it is already the 23rd and we still have not got round to adding new products to our website I may have to persuade my brother who has done work for our website before to lend a hand I keep reminding him that’s what families are for

Mondays are always busy days in the office and I am always around to help Rhian out answering the phones and emails whenever I can.
I was sat at my desk this morning adding to our website update some new text they required when there was a knock on the door.
I answered it expecting to see our postman with a pile of letters but it was a man who had come from Wirksworth to collect a Firefox 5 Stove.
As most of you know we only do viewings by appointments only but he said he didn’t realise that and had just turned up.
This was not a problem for me as I was in and not out delivering etc so he followed me to the factory and he collected stove and paid cash.
Another happy customer who said he wanted to fit today ASAP as its dropping cold I am not sure whether they have the same weather in Wirksworth which is only a few miles from us but its been really nice here in Ripley.
So please be aware I am not always available for viewing as I’m out delivering during the week too helping Stu out as its very busy at the moment and our vans are always up and down the Motorways delivering.
This week we have delivery runs planned to Sunderland and Newcastle, Leicestershire and Norfolk and finally Wrexham and the North West then of course both vans to the South on Sunday.
Im not moaning this time of year is always busy until Christmas when we get a deserved 10 day or so break to recharge celebrate and then start all over again in Early January.

The Best selling stove of the Month this month is again the Tiger Plus Stove (mainly due to two orders of four stoves for a development company) and as we featured it last month we have decided to opt for the second best seller which is the Firefox 5 Multi Fuel Stove. This Little Stove really offers a serious heat output of up to 5KW,this comes from a stove that is only 410mm wide 370mm deep and 544mm high. There is not much on the market to match this output from the same size and at £280 it is a real bargain.
The firefox 5 is capable of heating a room 16ft x 12ft and of normal ceiling height with average insulation burning logs so as you can see you don’t need a huge fireplace opening to fit a stove in even to warm a fair size room.
If you wish to work out how many kilowatts you need to heat a room take a look at Stove Output Calculator and this will tell you all the things you need to measure to get accurate KW rating to heat that room.
The fire fox 5 stove can be flued from the top or the rear and has a 5†flue outlet there are 79% efficient and are truly multi-fuel burning Wood, Coal, Logs, Coke etc they also come with controllable airwash and adjustable air intake to regulate output. Where has today gone it started out with good intentions of adding a load more of our new Modern Fireplace range to our Fireplaces website but that has now gone to pot as its 6.oo pm already. Today started with a visit to our factory to meet customer who had come to collect a stove after showing him all the models we have in stock he decided on a Firefox 5 Multi Fuel Stove that was promptly loaded and he went on his way. Next up was to wrap up and check all the deliveries we have to do this weekend with both our vans loaded it was Sandwich time. After a nice cup of tea it was back to the office to raise delivery notes. Rhian had been busy answering phones and I had two orders to deal with when I returned one who wants to collect tonight between 7 and 8 pm, so another trip to workshop to collect fireplace as he is collecting it from my house. See how dedicated we are to this Business we arrange collections and viewings at times when other Fireplace companies are closed so I am now sat at my office desk wondering whether to upload new fireplaces or just set up my new laptop so I can access emails and orders on the move via mobile broadband. It seems weird using modern technology for a trade that is very traditional but if it makes our customers receive a better service I am all for that. New Modern Fireplaces will be added Tuesday now but we are open over the Bank Holiday just ring or email us if you require any fireplace help.
