Another simple question answered 1st thing this morning regarding whether we could supply a Barley Slate Hearth from the 2010 Pink Gallery fireplaces brochure in a made to measure size.
Our Customer had picked up the brochure from somewhere and was wanting a price for this hearth with chamber size to match her opening at home.
After enquiring as to what she was using it for it came out that she wanted a Firefox 8 Stove too along with Register plate and Flue pipe.
So after asking a few questions i went off taking down her number to work out price for hearth after a quick phonecall to check it could be done with slimmer tiles it was all priced up and customer was rung back.
I had also done a package price for her including the stove and flue pipe etc and gave her that quote too.
Thats fantastic was the reply ill order it all from you now.
Just check the measurements when you get home tonight regarding hearth i said to make sure they are right as made to measure items are non returnable so it makes sense to double check.
So im 100% sure we have another order coming our way just by taking a little time and running through with our customers exactly what they want and what the need it for.
So if i did not ask questions i would not have found out about stove etc but the most important thing is to make sure our customers get what they want for waht they need it to do with the minimum of Fuss

Why the rush on Gallery Fireplace Gas Stoves whats going on
Tuesday, December 8th, 2009We have had a very unusual event happening to us over the last few week we have sold 5 Gas stoves in the last ten days now we dont normally sell that many in 2 months but strangely enough we have now sold 5 in just over a week.
We have sold 3 Firefox 5 Gas Stoves, 1 Tiger and 1 Firefox 8 all for coal effect natural gas use, as we do not keep any gas stoves in stock we have had to order them in which arrived from our great suppliers straight away.
Now the vast majority of stoves we sell are for multifuel use it seems strange to me with the price of gas why we have sold so many.
Yes they are very clean and make no mess when using and are 73% efficient so they try there best not to spin your gas meter off the wall to create some heat. Surely the idea of having a stove is to fill it with wood coal etc and sit back and watch and listen to the fire heat your home or am i being nostalgic.
I have said before how much i love fire and watching my Tiger plus stove roar way on a cold winters evening it would seem strange just twisting the gas knob and watch it jump into life.
But hey thats just me im not complaining about sales i must just be getting old and not liking change speaking of fires im now going to fill our wood basket and get the stove lit (still having damp logs problem so coal again for the bed)
Gallery Fireplace Firefox 5 Multi Fuel Stove Shortage
Saturday, November 14th, 2009It looks like the Firefox 5 Multi Fuel stove is again going to be in short supply in the run up to Christmas we are due a small delivery at the end of November and we have sold the last one we have in stock to a customer in Lincoln on Thursday we did have over 20 in stock in the last week of October but they have now all been sold in we are awaiting them arriving from China.
We did double the amount of Stoves we have in stock but sales of the Firefox 5 have again gone mad and left our suppliers without stock too even after they had ordered extra in too after last years fiasco when we ran out of all stoves.
Luckily this year it is only the Firefox 5 upto now which is in very short supply.
We do have plenty of Firefox 8s and 12s in stocks and also have plenty of the Tiger Classic and Tiger Plus so it is not all doom and gloom on the stove front yet but the way things are going i expect to run short of all of those too before santa arrives.
So basically my advice is if you are thinking of buying a Multi Fuel Stove please bear this in mind and order as soon as you can both toget it delivered and also to ensure it can be fitted in time for Christmas too i know it sound daft but fitting dates are running short too and we only have 3rd week in December left now for all our local fits.
We are taking forward orders for the remaiing firefox 5 stoves we have coming into stock so we will again be taking forward orders on Monday when i know how many we have available.
Just to add insult to injury the price of the stoves are due to rise 1st week in December as we impliment gallery price increase across the whole range so take advantage of our pre ordering of the Firefox 5 stoves and we will honour the price at the time of order

Firefox 5 Stove Orders being Taken Monday for December
Gallery Fireplaces Firefox 8 Multi Fuel Stove in Customer Gallery
Monday, October 19th, 2009So i said i was going to return to our customer gallery feature and show you a few of our range of Gallery Fireplaces and Stoves that previous customers of ours have fitted in their own homes.
I did a little blog about this particular stove before because when i had got home from delivering it in the morning i had on my pc an email from the Customer
Mark Adams.
Hi
I recently purchased a Firefox stove from you which was burning within 3 hours of delivery.
We are very pleased with it and more importantly we were very impressed that it arrived when you said it would and that it was delivered right to the Hearth!
Thank you for your reliability
Now that is impressive by any imagination they were enjoying a nice fire in a stove i had only just delivered before i had even arrived home also attached to the email was a picture of Firefox 8 Multifuel stove with ash in it.
I think that is quite amusing no sooner had i delivered onto the hearth in the friont room and driven off were they there unboxing it an connecting it up to use so i thought i will add this picure of this to our customer gallery to see if it gives anyone inspiration to try and beat this installation time im pretty sure it will be a hard act to follow so have a look at this Firefox 8 stove heating up Jennys house 3 hours after delivery

Gallery Fireplaces Firefox 8 Multi Fuel stove fitted 3 hours after delivery
Sunday, September 20th, 2009I have been out delivering Fireplaces this morning to Hampshire, Salisbury, London and Bedfordshire and I returned back at 2.30 pm to meet a customer at the workshop who wanted to swap some Tiles as he wasn’t sure about the colour of the tiles and wanted another set.
He came from Shepshed, which is only 25 miles from our factory, and I met him there and showed him alternatives, which he went away with another set saying how pleased he was with our service.
I saw another two customers and we had one appointment who did not appear and my builder mate who collected the stove right on time said I looked tired I replied its your fault making me work later on a Sunday. He smiled and gave me a pat on the back and said go home and get to bed (I wish I could).
So when I Got back to the office and had this email I could not believe it
Mark Adams.

Jenny
Now that is from Mrs Briggs in Salisbury who we delivered the stove to this morning at 9am they even had it fitted and running before id even got to drop number 5 in Harpenden at 12.30.
They must have unpacked it and started the minute I left the house I have never had anybody reply saying they had it working before I had even got home.
Emails and comments like that always make us feel special that we have done our best and we have delivered yet again a great service word of mouth is one of our best forms of advertising and certainly the cheapest so we want you to be happy with the goods and service we offer if not please inform us and we can do something about it and we take all comments whether good or bad very seriously.
Gallery Firefox 8 Multi Fuel stove July best selling Stove
Friday, August 7th, 2009So it now brings me on to the Stove of the month and this months it has been a run away winner and it is the Firefox 5 Again but as we have featured it before we will feature the second best seller which is the Firefox 8 Multi Fuel Stove
This is one stove with a good output of 8 KW which is very similar in size to the Tiger and Tiger plus which have outputs at around 6KW so you can have a stove with more grunt in a space the same size as a 6kw stove.
I think this stove is very well proportioned with its simple large door operated by a simple to use handle and has a good area for loading with logs.
The air wash system is simple to use with a sliding bar at the top right hand side of the stove and the air intake works exactly the same way with simple slider to increase air into the stove.
Made from 100% cast iron it has a heat output which is controllable up to 8kw all these stoves are brick lined and will take a standard 6” flue pipe if you need to have your chimney lined
I am sure you will agree with a price tag of £350 you can see why there are selling very well there really are an absolute bargain and with all our Stoves they are approved to European Standard EN 13240 so you can rest assured you are buying a quality stove that is efficient.
