Introducing the New 42″ and 48″ Agean Brompton Limestone Mantel
Monday, July 19th, 2010New Limestone Fireplace Mantel Sizes Approved
Wednesday, May 19th, 2010Today we have had a good afternoon with our fantastic suppliers sorting out and approving the new sizes for the new range of Limestone Mantels we have now ordered for delivery in around 12 Weeks just in time for the start of Heating Season.
Im not going to go in to too much detail until they arrive as it always nice to keep a few surprises for our competitors as to exactly what we are planning.
I know they read our blog everyday to see what we are up to as they seem to be so short of ideas for themselves you know who you are.
Anyway there are some new mantels and a few alterations to some existing ones and also some size additions to some already popular sellers.
This will then make our range of Limestone Mantels the biggest and most diverse on the market and offer our customers the largest choice in both sizes and style.
There is also a new range of White Marble arriving too but up to now we are going to try them in the Flat Victorian “Brompton Style” mantel and see how they go.
Some of these mantels have been designed to fit with our New Coronet Highlighted Fireplace which has also been ordered and will be with us quite quickly and will feature very heavily on our website and in our showroom.
I am pretty sure this new fireplace is going to be a really big seller so i have ordered plenty of them as with all our items we do like to keep them in stock for collections and quick delivery.
So i will let you know more when i have some images to show you and until then im afraid its a secret.

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010Today we have recieved the new brochure and price list of the Bliss range of Accessories and spares for solid fuel fireplaces.
On our website we do have a range of items we offer for sale and i must say im impressed with the amount of choice this new brochure has in it.
There are many items that are relevant to the Fireplaces and Stoves we offer and a lot of this range over the forthcoming weeks will be added to our website from simple itmes such as Long Matches and decorative holder ideal for lighting solid fuel fires without burning your fingers to the long awaited range of Register or Debris plates that are used in the installation of all our Multi Fuel Stoves.
We are also extending the range of Log baskets and companion sets inc screens etc so we have one of the most diverse range available online.
One of the best features of this new range is the Brick Chamber suites which are available currently with our multifuel stoves we will be offering a larger choice for sale and also offering a made to measure service on these.
Bricks are also availble to buy by the 1/2 metre packs and will also be listed in the various finishes offered these are a fantastic alternative to the fireboard chambers we sell and offer a more traditional finish to your fireplace or stove chamber.
So keep checking back it will not be long before everything is in place
New Fireplace stock arriving daily new items galore
Monday, September 14th, 2009Hello we have had a busy day today with items arriving the Jig rep has again been to see us and bring our samples of the new items we are going to be offering on our website and I must say they look fantastic.
He has also dropped off a batch load of surrounds we have bought at an incredible price so watch out for those in our bargain sections very shortly.
Richard the Jig rep again remarked at how many Fireplaces we keep in stock and remarked that all the companies he has been too he has never seen so much in stock anywhere else apart from the trade suppliers they deal with he also commented on the forklift that I was driving and restacking items when he arrived at our factory.
All the items were swiftly unloaded from his van and placed into stock ready to photograph so they can go on our website.
I am going to set aside a day next week when I photo all these new items we have so you can see them all and purchase them on our website.
On returning to the office today I had a call from our website company for me to ring re website update we currently have running it looks like our site may need some major alteration to make it work how we want it too.
So they are now underway with that after agreeing costs and I have been forwarded test page and new admin section to test out and list items to see how it runs and after an hour or two I must say I’m impressed with the new features we have coming not just easier for our customers but I can then look at items and sales patterns at a push of a button to say im excited is an understatement so expect more on this matter the closer going live date gets.
Right off to walk the dog and have an hour out busy day again tomorrow more thing s to move and more goods arriving Wednesday along with loading vans.
New Stoves and Fireplaces to be launched on our Website
Wednesday, August 26th, 2009A small disaster has struck us here at Cast Fireplaces my wife Rhian has returned from girls weekend away only to be struck down with Swine Flu. So she has been quarantined in the Bedroom so the kids and myself don’t catch it she is on tamiflu and lemsip and is starting to feel slightly better again.
So again I find myself between the Office and the factory as we have deliveries planned and items need wrapping and loading to ensure your fireplace arrives how it should via our terrific Home delivery service. Speaking of travelling to and fro today I had to help an old man who had fell in front of my van today, honestly I did not knock him over so I covered him in blankets we use for wrapping fireplaces up in and rung ambulance I was then late back for dinner and lunch was cold but hey he was alright.
So if you do enquire about items you will get me again I am afraid. We had a rep from a company that supplies stoves visit us yesterday and fingers crossed should the discount rates add up we have negotiated we will be offering another range of Multi Fuel Stoves to compliment those we already offer.
As you know we manufacture timber surrounds and we have just ordered a cold spray wax system to quicken up the hand finish of all our timer surrounds it uses the same wax we already use and instead of applying by brush or cloth you just spray it on them wipe of excess and then hand buff to required finish we already spray on water based stain so it is another process that will be quicker which will again lower the price of our Timber surrounds to make our prices even cheaper and as asda say every little helps.
We are constantly on the search for new products and have already got 4 new ranges to launch when website updates are in place so we can again offer a bigger range with more choice and diversity than most shops online.
So anyway that’s it for now I am off to check on my patient and check the kids are still happy see you soon.
Modern Fireplaces section is being altered for heating season
Thursday, August 13th, 2009This month at Cast Fireplaces is going to be very busy what with customers booking appointments daily to visit our showroom and orders being made on our website and for 1 week we are do to only 1 in the office.
My wife Rhian who does a lot of the office based work and answering phones and emails is away on a girl’s holiday next week so I am afraid you will get me if you ring the office to enquire about anything.
We don’t expect too much disruption to our service as we have an extra driver to help us out with the delivery service we offer so we don’t fall behind and you get your fireplace on time.
With all this going on to we have our new website categories to alter too with our Modern Fireplaces section being the biggest that is being altered work is well underway doing this and we will inform you when its ready to go live on our website.
We hope to get all this work out of the way before the start of “Heating Season” which tends to be the Middle of September although the weather men say we are in for a scorching September (I am sure they said that about July) so it may allow us a little time before it starts to go cold.
It seems logical to me to change your fireplace in the Summer when you are not using it but it’s the same every year it goes mad when the weather drops cold and people decide to buy a new fireplace.
I suppose winter is the time to be doing renovations indoors and the fire being the main focal point of any room means it becomes the main feature of any home renovation.
Anyway who cares when you change your fireplace or stove as long as you get them delivered on time before your fitter is due.
We have had a few phone calls recently the last one being Friday who had ordered a Firefox 5 Stove from someone else who were delivering that day but phoned him at 5pm to say they were not coming and it was out of stock. That sort of service is shocking and is something you WILL NOT get here we deliver on time every time and I don’t think we have ever failed to make a delivery even when the Camshaft went on our 2 year old van (thank god for warranty) we had it towed back by RAC and loaded second van and went again some 3 hours late but all the customers were rang and all were delivered after a very long day.
Anyway off to add more items to Website Update
