What is a Combination Fireplace

A Cast Iron Fireplace that has its own shelf attached to it without the need for a surround is called a Combination Fireplace we have a category dedicated to those types of fireplaces on our website. These fireplaces are a common sight in many Victorian houses that had them fitted as bedroom fireplaces and also in living areas where it was not “grand” enough for a mantel and insert type fireplace. These combinations are really compact items and are great for chimneybreasts where the space is tight, as they don’t need the extra width of having a surround.
We offer 14 different types from shelf widths of 30” to shelf widths of 48”, they come in a variety of styles and designs and some even have tiles such as the Edwardian, Amsterdam and Fulham. We do square and arched versions and they all come in a variety of finishes such as Black, Highlighted and Full Polished.
We also offer them as packages for gas solid fuel and electric so we will have a combination fireplace for every room in your house.
Prices start from as little as £210 for this type of fireplace so there very cheap for a feature that will grace any chimney breast and give a room a totally different look.
If you require any help measuring up for your new fireplace or want any advice as to what type of fire to install in which room etc just contact us we are always here to help.
