Q: Are the fireplaces new

A: We only sell brand new 1st grade Gallery Fireplaces we dont stock seconds or factory returns all our products are the real mcoy at discounted prices

 

Q: Are the fireplaces suitable for solid fuel and gas use?

A: Yes everything we sell is suitable for solid fuel and gas use.

 

Q: Are you a real Shop

A: Yes we do have premises where you can come and view fireplaces before purchase this is by appointment only though

 

Q: Can i mix and match

A: We can create the perfect fireplace package for you if its not already shown on our website just contact us and we will get you a price for the package you want whether its for gas or solid fuel

 

Q: Can we collect Fireplace ourselves

A: Yes of course you can unlike most of our so called competitors we have large stocks of fireplaces in stock ready for you to take away so collection is fine from our Langley Mill Factory

 

Q: Can we come and view items

A: Yes we keep large stocks of fireplaces in stock for you to view at our premises in Langley Mill This is by appointment only please ring to make arrangements on 01773 749060

 

Q: Do I have to have the fireplace as it's shown in the pictures?

A: No you can mix tiles, surrounds, hearths to create the look your after we can create gas or solid fuel packages for all our fireplaces just ring for price (unsure just contact us).

 

Q: Do I need a cast back?

A: That depends. Tiled fireplaces need a 16" fireback - available separately. Arched inserts and combinations come with their own cast backs (unsure just contact us).

 

Q: Do I need chimney sweeping?

A: Cast and Pine recommends sweeping chimney before any fireplace installation.

 

Q: Do you fit the fireplaces

A: We dont fit the fireplaces ourselves but we do have numerous numbers of fitters based all over the Uk to fit the fireplace for you just ask us for details

 

Q: Do your Bargain Gas and Solid Fuel Packages have all what i need to install

A: Yes all our packages come complete with everything you need including relevant backs and tiles etc they are 100% ready to fit

Q: How do I purchase items?

A: When you find a item you wish to buy, click the "Buy" button to add the item to your shopping cart. The item will be displayed in the Shopping Cart section together with its price. To delete an item from the shopping cart, change the ordered quantity to "0" and press the Update Order button. To place an order for the items click on the Checkout button. This is where you can enter your order and delivery details.

 

Q: How is my fireplace delivered

A: All our fireplaces are delivered by our own vans taken into your house and placed in the room you want it to be in. We offer a one hour delivery slot for all our deliverys

 

Q: What about delivery

A: Cast and Pine deliver your fireplace in our own vans and take them into your house we very rarely use couriers we believe no one offers a better service.London and south delivered on a sunday all with our accurate time slot no more waiting in all day

 

Q: What about Fitting

A: We have fitters names and numbers for alot of areas all these people are HETAS and CORGI registered and are more than happy to fit a fireplace bought from ourselves

 

Q: What are the payment terms?

A: We only accept Debit or Credit card transactions via telephone - 01773 749060. Alternatively, you can pay by cheque, which should be made payable to 'Cast and Pine Direct'. Cheques need to be sent and cleared before goods are delivered.

 

Q: What does Class 1 and Class 2 Gas Insert Mean

A: A Class 1 Chimney is a chimney that is made from brick and has a chimney pot on the roof and can burn solid fuel most houses are class 1. Class 2 chimneys are chimneys that have been lined with 5" flexible liner. We now use Class 1 and 2 Gas inserts which work in both except for our tiled fireplaces if unsure just ring us or order class 2 as they work in both chimneys

 

Q: What type of finsih on the fireplace for solid fuel use

A: All our fireplaces are capable of burning solid fuel we do recommend Black finish as Highlighted or Full polish finish will tarnish around the bar areas as its in direct contact with the heat from the fireplace.This cant be removed once it has happened

 

Q: Why so cheap?

A: We are an internet based company with large stocks that we buy in bulk getting the best prices, we then sell the best quality fireplaces directly to the public and trade therefore passing on the savings! All prices include VAT.
