can have a gas fireplace.
Gas is a flexible
controlable fuel and the choice of product will be far wider
than for solid fuel. You can choose from a vast range of products
to suit every pocket and situation. Today's gas fire offers the
impact of live flames, good heat output and complete control.
Whether your choice is for a fire that creates the realism of
burning coals and logs or a contemporary design with both radiant
and convected heat, safety is assured via the mandatory testing
that all manufacturers must comply with.
- Our fireplaces have the extra option of being fitted with
the following options
- Coal Effect a true likeness to real lumps of coal that glow
red great traditional look.
- Pebble Effect a mixture of beige and light blue pebbles a
true modern look.
- Firewood Effect for that true just taken from the forest
wood burning look.
- Driftwood Effect for that taken from the beach smooth wooden
look.
On our website our largest selling items are our bargain gas
packages these are fireplace packages we have put together at
very good prices which include the gas insert in the price. Essentially
you need a proper brick built chimney for class 1 gas use we
do offer class 2 gas inserts for chimneys that have been lined
with 5" flexible linings.
Some of the fireplaces we sell in the arches section the Bolton
and the Royal and the tiled inserts are capable of taking a power
flue gas fire, this is a gas fireplace that vents to an outside
wall without the need for a chimney its this concept in gas fireplace
design that makes it accessible to the numerous numbers of houses
that are built without chimneys.
With our limestone and jurastone suites we offer a gas insert
option with a hotbox this is a ceramic fibre back which replaces
the cast iron back it increases the heat output from the gas
fireplace by around 500 watts its ideal for granite and fascia
panels where the look of the cast iron back is not required.
All of our fire baskets have there own gas insert made to
measure for each one so they too can be run on gas where as before
they would have been used for solid fuel use. All with no mess
and no cleaning they really are an effective way of the coal
fire look without all the hassles of cleaning and emptying the
fire.
We also sell convector fires for all our jurastone and limestone
packages these are the most efecient of all gas fires as they
radiate the heat into the room instead of just drawing the heat
up the chimney suitable for class 1 and class 2 chimney use there
ideal for the more modern type of gas fireplace
A gas fireplace is a clean burning device which when installed
correctly should give of no fumes they are fitted with an oxygen
depletion sensor which will shut down the gas insert if anything
goes wrong. They should always be installed by a CORGI registered
gas fitter they are not a diy job and should never be fitted
by any other person.
A gas fire is a technical piece of equipment and like a boiler
will need regular servicing this will ensure you trouble free
and safe enjoyment of your fireplace for years to come.

will be of the best quality at the best price and we are committed
