 The Term
Modern Fireplaces is used to describe a fireplace that's simple
in design with clean straight lines. It is normally finished
in a silver or full polish finish to create a contemporary look
and feel to the fireplace. There are no fussy ornate fireplace
tiles to decorate them with as this is more a traditional look.
Modern Fireplaces are made from a variety of materials these
are just some types.
Cast Iron- A simple designed fascia panel or cast insert which
tends to be finished in half or full polish to create a clean
simple look no intricate details our Crown arched insert is a
classic design finished with no details other than a polished
band to create a modern look. The Jubille is another simple design
that will grace any modern living room.
Timber Surrounds- The Lincoln Surround in Pine or Oak has
been designed for the modern fireplace type it has no fancy corbels
and is completely straight lined matched with the Crown insert
it forms a true modern classic fireplace. We also supply the
Abbey suite with light or dark oak surround it combines with
the black granite panel and hearth to enhance any home.
Granite Backs- We supply granite panels and hearths to mix
with our timber surrounds we sell absolute black and Tan coloured
when mixed with a gas fireplace and trim you get a fireplace
that is simple in looks but also stunning the contrast between
the black granite and silver trim and fret is striking. To compliment
this look we also supply black granite hearth to complete the
true modern fireplace.
Limestone- Millions of years old limestone has to be the king
of the modern fireplaces with its neutral colour it blends in
perfectly with and décor. Fitted with a granite or panel
or limestone slip set it can house Cast iron polished fire baskets
arched inserts or even the gallery hotbox and trim set or the
modern Convector fires. Its made from 100% limestone and has
a real luxurious feel to it. It can be subject to variation in
colour and veining ensuring each suite is entirely individual
there is no better modern or contemporary look then a simple
limestone surround and granite panel set with polished hotbox
gas fire.
Micro grain marble-Natural 100% marble finely crushed and
bonded together to form a subtle finish high gloss finish fireplace.
Available in 2 colours Marfil and Mocha Beige they are really
striking and very easy to maintain available in 7 different designs
we have a fireplace to suit your room setting.
Jurastone- Fireplace suites are manufactured from natural
stone and finished with a revolutionary, patent applied for durable
finish, with the realistic 'cold to touch' feel of natural stone.
Jura-stone is a totally resin free product, and is therefore
completely safe for use with most gas fires.
Extensive tests prove Jura-Stone to be virtually stain and
scratch resistant available in 10 different designs there ideal
for gas use. They are not suitable for solid fuel use. Available
in 10 different styles.
