Stoves for conservatories

Conservatories are terrific additions to most houses, but they can often lie unused for half of the year – however, with the addition of a stove, you can benefit from the extra room all year round.
When you think about it, a stove is the only practical way to achieve this, as re-routing your electricity or central heating into the conservatory would add huge costs. With a stove, it’s a much more straightforward process.
Firstly, you need to think about the size of your sun room and get a stove which gives out a suitable amount of heat for the space.
Once you’ve chosen the right stove, you’ll need to add a flue, either coming out of the top or side of your conservatory.
This would be an extra cost compared to putting a stove in your living room, but it means that the room can be used all year round.
The hole made for the flue will be water- and air-tight, so you don’t have to worry about the integrity of your conservatory – instead, you can just sit back feeling cosy and snug as you spend time admiring the wonders of nature.
