The FDC4 is the smallest model in the collection. Its compact proportions and 4kW nominal output make it suitable for smaller fireplace openings and rooms that require less heat.
The FDC5 has a familiar upright appearance with a nominal 5kW output. It provides a practical middle option for customers who do not need the additional width of the larger models.
The FDC5 Wide retains a 5kW output but has a broader body and larger viewing window. Its wider firebox also accommodates longer logs, making it a popular choice for customers who want a more substantial-looking stove without moving to a higher heat output.
The FDC8 is the largest model in the range. It shares the wider proportions of the FDC5 Wide but provides a nominal 8kW output for larger rooms and open-plan spaces.
All four models are multi-fuel stoves designed for properly seasoned logs and suitable approved smokeless fuels. They include an external riddling grate and separate air controls, together with Ecodesign and DEFRA-exempt approval. Always check the individual product specification because the stove dimensions, heat output, efficiency and required clearances vary between models.
We have two FDC multi-fuel stoves on display in our Heanor showroom:
Seeing the two models together makes it easier to assess their different widths, door proportions and viewing windows. The FDC5 has a more upright appearance, while the FDC5 Wide creates a broader focal point within the fireplace opening. Our team can also help you compare these models with the more compact FDC4 or the higher-output FDC8.
