Browse our range of electric stoves, designed to create the appearance of a real fire without burning logs or smokeless fuel. They can be a practical choice where a solid-fuel installation is not possible or where simpler everyday operation is preferred. Many freestanding models only require a suitable electrical socket, making them easier to position than a traditional stove. Our range includes different sizes, designs, flame effects and heat outputs.

An electric stove uses LED lighting, layered projection or an LCD screen to create moving flames around a decorative fuel bed. Higher-spec models often use LCD displays to produce more detailed flame movement and depth. The fuel bed also affects the overall appearance. Real-wood logs can create a more natural look, while ceramic logs, ember lighting and overhead illumination add colour and definition. A built-in fan heater provides additional warmth when required. The flame display and heater can usually be operated separately, allowing you to enjoy the appearance of the fire without heating the room. Depending on the model, controls may include adjustable flames, thermostatic heat settings, timers, remote controls or app operation.
When comparing electric stoves, consider the flame movement, brightness, fuel-bed detail, viewing angle and how the display looks with the room lights on and off. Some customers prefer a softer traditional flame, while others favour the additional detail and choice available from an LCD display. Always check the individual product specification because the flame settings, controls and heater output vary between models.
Our collection includes electric stoves from Solution, ACR and Parkray, with traditional and contemporary designs available in different sizes.
The Solution range includes e-tronic flame effects alongside higher-spec LCD models. The Mulberry and Elegance use the advanced TrueFlame 3DX LCD effect and real-log fuel beds, creating a more detailed and natural-looking fire display. The Mulberry has a traditional stove shape, while the three-sided Elegance has a more contemporary cylindrical design.
Our ACR range includes the traditionally styled Astwood and the more compact Malvern. Both provide layered flame projection across the front, middle and rear of the fuel bed, with adjustable heat settings, flame-only operation and remote or app-based controls.
The Parkray Aspect 5 electric range brings the familiar Aspect shape and large viewing window into an electric format. The Calm Flame uses an adjustable LED effect, while the premium Pure Flame uses an LCD display with eight different flame pictures. Both models include real-wood log fuel beds.
Electric stoves are generally designed to provide additional warmth to the room in which they are positioned. Many models offer a choice of heat settings, commonly between 1kW and 2kW, although the exact output varies. Operating the flame effect without heat uses considerably less electricity than running the built-in heater. When heat is selected, the cost will depend on the stove’s output, chosen setting, operating time and your electricity tariff. Electric heaters convert the electricity used at the appliance into heat, but this does not automatically mean they are inexpensive to run. Check the heat output and control options for the individual model before ordering.
An electric stove can be positioned within an existing fireplace opening, included as part of a complete fireplace design or used as a freestanding feature where the individual model allows. It can also be used against a flat wall, making it possible to create a stove-style focal point in a room without an existing chimney breast. Some customers place the stove on a suitable hearth and add a chamber, beam or mantel to create the appearance of a traditional fireplace. Check the stove dimensions and surrounding components carefully so the finished arrangement looks balanced. The appliance must have a suitable electrical supply, and its heater outlet and required clearances must not be obstructed. Avoid using an unsuitable extension lead and always follow the electrical and positioning instructions supplied with the stove.
We have working electric stoves on display in our Heanor showroom, including models with different flame technologies and fuel-bed designs. Seeing an electric stove operating makes it easier to compare the flame movement, brightness, viewing window and log-bed detail, which photographs do not always show accurately. Customers can compare standard LED effects with higher-spec LCD and TrueFlame displays, including models with real-log fuel beds. We can also demonstrate flame-only operation, heat settings and the different control options available before customers choose a model.

No. Electric stoves do not produce smoke or combustion gases, so they do not require a working chimney or flue. They do require a suitable electrical supply and must be positioned and operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Running costs depend on how the stove is used. Operating the flame display without heat uses considerably less electricity than running the built-in heater. When heat is selected, the cost will depend on the appliance output, heat setting, operating time and your electricity tariff. Check the individual product specification for the available heat settings.
Realism depends on the flame technology, fuel bed, lighting and personal preference. Premium LCD models such as the Solution Mulberry, Solution Elegance and Parkray Aspect 5 Pure Flame offer detailed flame imagery and real-log fuel beds. LED and layered projection models can also produce an attractive effect, particularly when combined with a detailed fuel bed. Comparing the flame movement, fuel bed and overall appearance while the stove is operating is the best way to choose.
