Castfireplaces home delivery service is unique. Using our own vans and staff, delivery is the most important part of our business. We believe that it should be on time every time when we say even down to our unique one-hour delivery slot. Have a look at our reviews and see what our customers have said about our service.
Delivery times depend on locations and are normally 3–14 days, so if you need it in a hurry, call or email to see what we can do once we have agreed a date, we will not let you down. It’s not a next-day service, so plan ahead to ensure you meet your installation date.
After order, you will be contacted by us to arrange a delivery day and advised of a one-hour window for delivery. We can sometimes cater for early morning deliveries before work etc. around 7AM. These are only available by pre-booking when you order.
We also offer a ring back service where our delivery drivers can ring you at a specified time before delivery, so if you need to make your way back from work to be there to accept delivery of your new fireplace.
Delivery days
Tuesday and Fridays are our normal delivery days for areas in the Midlands, North West, North East, South West, Wales and Norfolk etc.
On Thursdays, we deliver to the South of England inc Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, London, Essex, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire.
Scotland is not delivered by Castfireplaces. We use a specialist courier who collects from us weekly and then will contact you to make final delivery details.
On the Day.
We do try to deliver it inside your home, but only send one person. We offer this service wherever practical. If you are expecting something large delivered, such as a limestone mantel, large cast iron fireplace or stove etc, please could you make sure there is somebody to give the driver a hand, as he may sometimes need a little help on delivery with larger items to enter your property.
So, if you know your property has stairs, steps etc or is miles away, and we can not park near you, please let us know, and we can explain what help we would need. We have ramps, skids and trolleys on our vans to aid our delivery driver, but occasionally they just do not work.
Stairs and steps are difficult to navigate, so please ensure help on delivery should it be required, otherwise we can only leave at ground floor level outside.
If in doubt, give us a call before or after ordering.
Please ensure all floor surfaces are covered as heavy items are put in place using trolleys and barrows etc. and we would not want to mark your wooden floor or carpet etc.
Castfireplaces will enter your property at your risk only and cannot be held responsible for any damage should it occur to carpets, wooden floors, furniture etc. where they have not been covered.
We will not take items upstairs in your property. Our insurance will not cover this for our staff.
We do not insist on you checking items on delivery. We allow 7 days after delivery for you to check all items through, so you can do it at your leisure.
Care of your fireplace
All the fireplaces and fires we supply are loaded onto our vans and blanket-wrapped to ensure safe transit. When delivered to you, the blankets remain on until the item is in your home. The care we take with your new fireplace ensures we do not have any damages.
All delivered by our own uniformed staff in our sign-written vans, and we are proud of the service we provide. We know how to handle these products. We have many years’ experience delivering fireplaces and stoves.
