Bioethanol Fireplaces

Bioethanol fireplaces are a practical alternative for anyone who wants a real flame without using gas or solid fuel. We have paired bioethanol fires with some of our most popular fireplace packages, creating traditional designs made from solid natural materials. They are a good choice when a chimney is no longer working or when you want the appearance of a traditional fireplace with a simpler fuel option.

Complete Bioethanol Fireplace Packages

Our bioethanol fireplace packages are designed to give you a complete fireplace rather than a simple freestanding burner. The range combines solid marble, limestone or wooden surrounds with a choice of cast iron inserts, fascias or granite panels. Different hearth finishes are also available, with ceramic coals or logs used around the bioethanol fire on selected designs. Each package has been put together so the surround, fire and hearth work well as one complete design. Available options will vary between products, so check the individual page for full details.

Traditional Bioethanol Fireplaces Made from Natural Materials

Our bioethanol fireplaces offer something different from many of the lightweight suites available elsewhere. Most of our packages have a traditional design and use solid marble, limestone, granite, cast iron and real wood. We do not use MDF surrounds or imitation stone. This gives each fireplace a more substantial look and feel, with designs suited to both traditional and modern homes.

Bioethanol Fireplaces for a Flat Wall

We also offer bioethanol fireplaces for rooms without a chimney breast or existing fireplace opening. These packages are designed to fit against a flat wall, allowing you to create a complete fireplace feature in a wider range of rooms.

How Does a Bioethanol Fireplace Work?

Bioethanol fuel is added to the burner and lit to create a real flame. There is no ash to clear away after use, while burn time and heat output will depend on the fire or burner supplied with the package. Never add fuel while the burner is alight or still warm. Allow it to cool fully before refilling, clean up any spills and keep the fuel container away from the fireplace while it is in use. Always use the correct bioethanol fuel, follow the instructions supplied with the fire and use it in a well-ventilated room.

Convert an Existing Fireplace

Already have a fireplace you would like to convert? Our bioethanol conversion kits offer a simple way to add a real flame without using gas or solid fuel. The range includes small, large and round burner kits, along with a conversion kit designed for selected Gallery cast iron fireplaces. Choose the size and style that best suits your existing fireplace opening.
