Stove Hearths

Our stove hearths are designed for wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, providing a suitable base in front of the fireplace and beneath the stove. Most of our tiled stove hearths are made as one continuous piece that extends into the fireplace opening. Granite stove hearths are supplied with a front hearth and a separate matching rear section.

Choosing a Stove Hearth

Choose a finish that works well with your stove, fireplace chamber and surround. Black-and-white tiled hearths create a traditional patterned feature, while riven tiled hearths have a textured appearance similar to natural slate. These are two of our most popular designs. Polished black granite provides a smooth, simple base, while quarry and other patterned tiled hearths offer a wider choice of colours and styles.
Check the full hearth measurements shown on the individual product page before ordering.

Made to Measure Stove Hearths

A made-to-measure service is available when a standard hearth does not suit your fireplace. Different sizes can be produced to suit the fireplace opening and the area required in front of the stove. Typical lead times are around two weeks, although this may increase during the busier winter months. Please bear this in mind when ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Measure the full width and depth required, including the area inside the fireplace opening and the projection needed in front of the stove. Compare these measurements with the dimensions shown on the individual product page.

Most of our tiled stove hearths are made as one continuous piece that extends into the fireplace opening. Granite stove hearths are supplied with a separate matching rear section that sits beneath the stove.

Maintaining your stove hearth is simple. Regularly remove any debris or ash buildup and clean the surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent as needed. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or tools that could damage the hearth’s finish.
