What fuel can you burn in the Aspect stoves? It is a popular question asked by our customers. All the Parkray stoves we sell start out as Log burners with a solid vermiculite board base to simply place the wood on. The reason for this is that wood burns from the top down, so it needs no air underneath for combustion.
They can be converted to burn smokeless coal using a dedicated multi-fuel kit. This then has a freestanding grate in place which incorporates an ashpan to collect the ash. If you are unsure whether you want to burn coal, you can always order it as a log burner and add the kit at a later date should you choose too.
