What to burn on a multifuel stove

Choosing a multi-fuel stove is a choice for many as it offers the flexibility of burning wood and smokeless coal for prolonged burning periods. It is an option so many prefer.
They also have ashpans and grates, making cleaning them out easier, and they can still be used to burn logs should you wish.

Numerous names such as solid fuel or dual-fuel stoves are heard when talking about multi-fuel stoves. They are the same and burn fuel on a static or riddling grate, which allows air to circulate all around the fuel and maximises heat output.
Capable of burning a variety of fuels, including seasoned logs, these stoves can burn smokeless fuels, peat briquettes, anthracite, and more.

Buying a cheap multi fuel stove

We offer entry-level stoves with prices starting at £450 (Sept 24), so the cost of owning your first multifuel stove will quickly be repaid, avoiding spiralling gas and electric costs.
It seems like they are the most desired item for homeowners and, honestly, I can see why.
The budget stoves we sell are very efficient clean burning and are still SiA approved and DEFRA approved. They all pass the same stringent tests as stove models costing £1000s.
