Mi Stoves

MI Stoves offers a varied range of British-designed wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves. The collection includes compact models for smaller fireplace openings, wider stoves with large viewing windows and contemporary freestanding designs. Our range includes models from the Lakes and Tinderbox collections, alongside the curved Ovale stoves and distinctive FireBlossom.
Most MI stoves can be viewed and ordered directly through our website, with dimensions, heat outputs and fuel information included on each product page. We also have several models displayed in our Heanor showroom.

MI Wood-Burning and Multi-Fuel Stoves

The Lakes range includes the Skiddaw, Grisedale, Loughrigg and Derwent models. Their names are inspired by locations in the Lake District, although each stove has its own proportions, viewing window and heat output.
The Skiddaw has a taller, narrower shape, while the Grisedale provides a wider view of the fire. The Loughrigg combines a broad viewing window with a lower stove body, creating a noticeable focal point without being overly tall. Derwent stoves are available in different sizes and include multi-fuel options, providing flexibility when choosing a stove for your room and fireplace opening. The Tinderbox collection is also available in a choice of sizes. These multi-fuel stoves have a straightforward design and can suit both traditional and more modern fireplace settings.
For a more contemporary appearance, the Ovale range has a cylindrical body and gently curved viewing window. Low and tall versions are available, allowing the same rounded style to be used at different heights.
The FireBlossom is another contemporary design, with a rounded stove body, curved viewing window and full-length handle. This model is supplied through our Heanor showroom and is also on display there.
Features vary between models, but the range includes airwash systems, lined fireboxes and ceramic-glass windows designed to provide a clear view of the flames.
All current MI stove models meet Ecodesign requirements. Smoke Control Area suitability varies, so check the individual product specification to confirm whether a particular stove is DEFRA exempt.
