Cast Fireplaces were incredibly helpful when we were initially making enquiries regarding our bespoke fire surround. The overall choice was so comprehensive and we eventually settled on oiled oak. The ordering process couldn't have been more straight forward & we were advised of production time at that stage. Everything went very smoothly and delivery was as they had predicted, although we did feel that the delivery charge was rather excessive. However, we are delighted with the finished product and it really has become the focal point in our room. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Cast Fireplaces for their excellent customer care and product.

I love this company. We just needed an oak surround, but I almost feel like fitting another fireplace just to use them again. Mark went out of his way to enable us to call in when passing through, so we could see e surrounds in the flesh. We could then easily order on line, including customising. They waited for us to get back from holiday before dispatching, communication was great, and delivery was spot-on. And we have saved a pile of cash.

Flueless fires which require no working chimney

At Castfireplaces, we specialise in electric fires suited for this purpose. While we currently do not offer gas-flueless fires, we do feature Bioethanol fires. Ideal for our cast iron fireplaces, these Bio-ethanol fires are perfect for chimney breasts where traditional flues are no longer viable. Simply insert them into the fireplace, pour in the liquid, light it, and enjoy real flames without the need for a flue. For many of the Bioethanol fires, a recess will usually still be required to house the cast iron back of the fireplace.

The benefits of choosing a Bio fire over electric for a flueless setup are that our Bioethanol fires offer real flames and require no electrical connection, providing flexibility in placement and operation. They are also environmentally friendly, burning cleanly and producing minimal emissions.
