Cast Fireplaces were incredibly helpful when we were initially making enquiries regarding our bespoke fire surround. The overall choice was so comprehensive and we eventually settled on oiled oak. The ordering process couldn't have been more straight forward & we were advised of production time at that stage. Everything went very smoothly and delivery was as they had predicted, although we did feel that the delivery charge was rather excessive. However, we are delighted with the finished product and it really has become the focal point in our room. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Cast Fireplaces for their excellent customer care and product.

When we book delivery it arrives on time and undamaged, yes we could do it cheaper by couriers and 3rd party transport but that then offers a service we could not trust. I love this company. We just needed an oak surround, but I almost feel like fitting another fireplace just to use them again. Mark went out of his way to enable us to call in when passing through, so we could see e surrounds in the flesh. We could then easily order on line, including customising. They waited for us to get back from holiday before dispatching, communication was great, and delivery was spot-on. And we have saved a pile of cash.

Geo Cast beams and distance to combustibles

Designed to reduce the distance of combustibles to 250mm, these concrete beams look like wood and offer a solution to the distance to combustibles law which is stopping you from having a real oak beam above your fireplace.

Geocast beams can be installed closer to stoves than solid oak beams due to the non-combustible material they are made from.

The appearance of the Geocast beams is very realistic and available in quite a few different finishes.

New to the range are the Heritage and Rustic ranges along with the all-new and improved grey beams that are on display in our Heanor showroom, so come along to have a look.

Real oak beams

For those of you who are lucky enough to be able to have a real Oak Beam, we have our solid oak beams constructed from French air dried oak. They are designed to be fixed straight to the wall as a floating beam and come with a fixing bracket wedge.

Available in our finished colours, they look fantastic.

Yes, we have all the geocast beams on display in our showroom. They look so real.

Also on display is the real oak beam and colour swatches too.

We can offer made-to-measure in real wood, but the geocast beams are fixed sizes.

Even if they are non-combustible, they still need to be 250mm away so they do not crack with the heat from your stove.
