The flat panel Victorian-inspired design of the Brompton Agean Limestone Mantel will set off our traditional stoves and fires to perfection. Creating the perfect style statement in any period property, the plain and simple design of the mantel really shows off the 100% Agean Limestone.
We do offer our own 42″ 48″ and 54″ versions which are called flat Victorian mantels manufactured from the same material and same styles.

We would advise sealing limestone mantel after fitting. Please add limestone sealer if required
Rebate Option
Our surrounds come with a standard 75mm rebate, designed for use with arched inserts, cast iron fireplaces, or tiled inserts etc.
If you’re installing the mantel on a flat wall (without an insert or chamber), select the no rebate required option. This includes an infilled rebate, making the surround suitable for flat wall installations and eliminating any visible gap between the inner legs and the wall.
Additional note for 56″ and 60″ surrounds:
On these sizes, the rebate infill (closure strips) is supplied as three separate pieces of limestone, which are fitted during installation to create a flat, closed rebate.

Good product, great service
We bought a Brompton Agean Limestone surround. Good product at reasonable price. We didn’t buy the closure strips which we needed as we were attaching the surround to the wall. The website does explain this though it wasn’t clear to me so do read carefully if relevant to you! As soon as we realised the mistake, Customer Service sorted this out for us and we had the strips within three days. I was very impressed with their service and help and would thoroughly recommend this company.

Your driver rang on Friday to check if it was ok to deliver the next day about 1700hrs, which it was. Saturday 1645 he rang to say he was running late and would be here at 1800hrs, at 1740 he rang again to say he was 15 minutes away. Fireplace arrive safely at 1755, excellent service. It is now in place and we are very pleased with it, photo attached. In all a very good service and excellent product and more important extremely good value. I would certainly recommend you to others.

I would just like to say a huge thank you for making our Christmas 2011 particularly warm and cosy and making my living room look amazing! My husband and I absolutely love our Brompton Limestone fireplace and pre-slabbed granite hearth, which was not only delivered quickly (it was a delight to order it and have it with us within 3 days, especially managing such a feat within one week of Christmas Day!), but you also timed it to perfection – sticking within minutes to the estimated time you gave (that was impressive and on a Sunday morning too!).

We are delighted with our new fireplace. After my initial phone call, you helpfully sent two small stone samples by return post which helped us choose Agean Limestone. We ordered the Brompton surround online, at an excellent price. It was delivered on time the following Sunday and carefully packaged to avoid damage. It was very helpful that you gave us a specific delivery time and kept to that. Now it has been installed our fireplace looks great and we are very pleased. The Agean Limestone goes very well with a black slate hearth.
