I went with Cast Fireplaces as they had better dimensions and sizing information than most of the other sites I saw. I ordered an insert and surround as a purely aesthetic fireplace. Worked great. really happy with the quality. And is a welcome upgrade from the cheap all in one firepalce that was there before.

Description

The cast iron rebate frame. An age old problem solved here at Castfireplaces removing the rebate on a cast iron surround when you want to sit it flush to the wall.

Without using this frame when fitting the Palmerston you will have a 75mm gap around the inner legs this rebate frame we have had made removes this problem.
Simply screwed to the wall to align with the opening of the Mantel the mantel is then fitted over. Ideal for fitting around stoves and on flat walls.
