Fuel Options Explained
Damper Flap
A plate that closes the flue to help stop draughts coming down the chimney. It also makes the fireplace look more complete.
Solid Fuel Kit
Needed if you want to burn real fuel such as wood or coal. It includes the parts required for a working fire and also gives the fireplace a more complete look.
Deeper Back Solid Fuel
A deeper fireback for a larger fire area, ideal for logs. It increases the depth by around 50mm and comes with the correct solid fuel kit.
Nuflame Gas Fire
A real flame gas fire with decorative coals. It needs a working flue and is suitable for class 1 and class 2 chimneys. It gives a more realistic flame than standard gas options.
Bioethanol Fire
A living flame option for customers without gas or solid fuel. It uses bioethanol fuel, produces no mess or fumes, and does not need a chimney. A recess is still required, so it will not work on a flat wall.
SLE35i Electric Fire
An electric fire made for cast iron inserts. It creates a realistic glow effect with decorative coal bed, with optional heat from a fan. It needs a recess into the chimney breast and will not work on a flat wall.

Granite (Polished)
Decorative / Gas / Bioethanol / Electric use: One piece, 15" deep.
Solid Fuel use: Cut and slabbed, visible joints, 18" deep.
Tiled
Basalt black as standard; other tiled options available at extra cost.
Decorative / Gas / Bioethanol / Electric use: 15" deep.
Solid Fuel use: 18" deep.
Slate
Honed slate as standard; Riven slate available at extra cost.
Decorative / Gas / Bioethanol / Electric use: One piece, 15" deep.
Not suitable for solid fuel use.

I am over the moon with the fireplace and its surround, now that it is in place it really does look stunning. The quality of the whole package is second to none and I really can not fault anything about it . I did actually price up exactly the same package with a local supplier and was amazed that they wanted nearly £1400 ……double what I paid with yourself!!!! Please say thanks to the delivery driver for me as I could not be there when the item arrived. He kept me fully informed of the arrival times and rang in advanced as promised so that my mother was not kept hanging around waiting. Some friends of mine have seen the fireplace and I think you will definitely be getting some word of mouth orders from them!!!

you were able to answer all my queries first timeI had been trying to order a fireplace that my partner had chosen from an alternative supplier, I needed a couple of questions answering before I could place an order, I could not get through for 3 days, I left a message on their email and I am still waiting for an answer, my fear was if I cant get through to order what would it be like if I had to resolve any problems when the fire arrived. Fortunately for me I came across your web site and found you did one very similar so I decided to give you a call. The call was answered within three rings and you were able to answer all my queries first time. I ordered the fireplace via the Internet which was very simple,the good news for me was it worked out £25 cheaper. If I was to make any criticism, it would be there was no communication for a few days until you called to arrange delivery, just a confirmation email would have been ok. Anyway you called and arranged to deliver on the Sunday after I ordered it so I was very pleased, I was at work and my partner took delivery, your driver turned up when you had said he would and he was very helpful and brought the fireplace into the room it was being fitted in, he explained we needed to check it within 7 days and call if there was a problem. Well I’m pleased to say it was perfect, I fitted it myself and there was not a mark on it.
Its a shame I have finished renovating our home because I would certainly have used you again, I would not hesitate in recommending you to friends and family and wish you every success for the future.
