I chose to purchase a multi-fuel burner from Cast Fireplaces due to the extra service they promised regarding delivery. Some sites offered the same model with free delivery (slightly cheaper) but only a curb side service and little option about delivery window, which did not suit my needs. The service from Cast Fireplaces did not disappoint. From the time of ordering the stove, through to delivery, the communication was excellent. The gentleman who delivered it was friendly and professional, kept me updated regarding delivery timings and safely delivered it directly into the property. I unfortunately experienced an issue with the stove handle not operating correctly, however, Mark was very helpful in ensuring that this matter was resolved, despite the manufacturer not offering a satisfactory solution. Putting aside that initial setback, I am very happy with the stove and would definitely recommend Cast Fireplaces and their team.

I went away to check the measurements and my chimney and I then ordered online. The fireplace was dispatched shortly afterwards. Due to being further away, I had a local fitter install. Description

The colour and natural variations in the oak are shown off beautifully in the Bedford Wooden Surround. With chunky legs and corbel detailing to the mantel, this surround teams beautifully with a vast range of our stoves and fireplaces and would look just as at home in a modern apartment as a character cottage.

Made to Measure
We offer a full bespoke made to measure service on this fire surround, a standard charge of £100 for this is added for dimensions that vary within 6” of our standard mantels.
Any larger than this would have to be quoted by email.
Please email us after order or add the dimensions into the customer comments box we do require all Dimensions A B C D E and whether a rebate is required.
We will check these over to ensure it will work and contact you to confirm order.

The oiled finish we use on our surrounds is a traditional finishing oil and is hand applied to create the perfect patina we can also supply the surround untreated for customers who wish to colour it themselves

The order arrived promptly (a surprisingly quick delivery compared with other suppliers) and was exactly as anticipated, a really nice surround ideal for what we had in mind. The order process was simple and contact over the phone and via the website was easy. The only slight negative piece of feedback was a small dink out of the mantle in the back right corner where it will meet the chimney breast, not enough to complain about though
I would happily use the company again and certainly recommend them to others

My fire surround arrived within 30 mins of the time you quoted as the approx arrival time. We are really pleased with the oak surround the quality of the workmanship is excellent and it fits like a glove..Several of visitors who have visited our house have commented on the mantle.. I certainly would recommend you to others I found you very easy to deal with and kept to all your promises
