Fuel Options Explained
Damper Flap
A plate that closes the flue to help stop draughts coming down the chimney. It also makes the fireplace look more complete.
Solid Fuel Kit
Needed if you want to burn real fuel such as wood or coal. It includes the parts required for a working fire and also gives the fireplace a more complete look.
Deeper Back Solid Fuel
A deeper fireback for a larger fire area, ideal for logs. It increases the depth by around 50mm and comes with the correct solid fuel kit.
Nuflame Gas Fire
A real flame gas fire with decorative coals. It needs a working flue and is suitable for class 1 and class 2 chimneys. It gives a more realistic flame than standard gas options.
Bioethanol Fire
A living flame option for customers without gas or solid fuel. It uses bioethanol fuel, produces no mess or fumes, and does not need a chimney. A recess is still required, so it will not work on a flat wall.
SLE35i Electric Fire
An electric fire made for cast iron inserts. It creates a realistic glow effect with decorative coal bed, with optional heat from a fan. It needs a recess into the chimney breast and will not work on a flat wall.

Solid Fuel use: Cut and slabbed, visible joints, 18" deep.
Tiled

Fireplaces and stoves are heavy. Our staff are all trained to handle these items on a regular basis, we use sack tracks, skids, ramps etc. to make sure they arrive in good order.

excellent service all round and great value for money.Our fireplace arrived at exactly the time specified, and following a bit of upset with a previous provider when a similar product arrived cracked, we were pleased to see that it was very well wrapped and protected. The driver was extremely helpful and brought everything in to the room we needed it to be in, and gave us plenty of time to have a look at the product (which we had not experienced with the previous provider). The team was very helpful and although they were not able to fulfil my request of a next day delivery, I felt completely assured that they had done everything they could to try to make that happen – an element of customer service that you don’t find everywhere. The fireplace is lovely and now has pride of place in our living room! I would definitely recommend Cast Fireplaces to others – excellent service all round and great value for money.

The customer service was outstandingCan honestly say the customer service was outstanding and puts the large national companies we have been dealing with to shame. You delivered the fireplace in the 1 hour (yes 1 hour and not 4 hour) time slot you had quoted. The product is not yet in place yet but having had a peek I can see the quality is superb!
My only issue is…………..I don’t have any further fire places that need a new mantel!

excellent price and service The price and service received was excellent. We selected an installation team recommended by Cast Fire Places and they did an excellent job. The only down side was a few flaws in the limestone mantle but we knew that a natural product such as this would include this. All credit to the install team as they made good the most significant flaw and it is hardly noticeable now.
