I went with Cast Fireplaces as they had better dimensions and sizing information than most of the other sites I saw. I ordered an insert and surround as a purely aesthetic fireplace. Worked great. really happy with the quality. And is a welcome upgrade from the cheap all in one firepalce that was there before.

Our newest Ariston Marble surround the Flat Victorian Marble Surround. featuring flat-panelled Victorian-inspired design that teams perfectly with the more traditional fireplaces and inserts in our range, but it also works beautifully with the more modern suites due to its clean, simple lines and sophisticated style.

Marble Closures
Our surrounds come with a standard 75mm rebate, designed for use with arched inserts, cast iron fireplaces, or tiled inserts etc.

If you’re installing the mantel on a flat wall (without an insert or chamber), select the Marble closures option. This includes three separate marble closure pieces, which are fitted during installation to infill the rebate. This makes the surround suitable for flat wall installations and eliminates any visible gap between the inner legs and the wall.
