Our polished black granite panel and hearth set is designed for solid-fuel fireplace installations, providing a matching finish around the fireplace opening and across the hearth.
Made from Absolute Black solid granite, both the panel and hearth are prepared for the higher temperatures associated with solid fuel.
The hearth is cut and slabbed rather than supplied as one solid piece. The joints allow for movement as the granite heats and cools, helping to reduce the risk of cracking. The hearth has a depth of 18 inches and is suitable for use with solid-fuel installations.
Each granite panel measures 37″ × 37″ and has a standard opening approximately 16½″ wide × 22½″ high. The panel includes an inset metal trim and can be used with a suitable inset solid-fuel stove. It can also be fitted with a trim and fret set and clay back for an open-fire installation.
These sets are manufactured to order, with a typical manufacturing time of around 2–3 weeks.
