Our polished black granite pushunder strip is designed to sit behind the main hearth, continuing the same granite finish into the fireplace opening.
It is useful on installations where a small section of the hearth base would otherwise remain visible between the main hearth and the fireplace chamber.
A pushunder is not required for every fireplace. It is mainly used where the shape or position of the fireplace opening would otherwise leave small areas of the concrete hearth base visible behind the main granite hearth.
If a pushunder is required as part of one of our fireplace packages, it will normally be supplied with the package.

The standard granite pushunder measures 30″ × 6″. We can also provide made-to-measure sizes where required.
Due to the nature of this product, we do not send granite pushunders by standard parcel carrier. Please only order this item when purchasing a fireplace package or hearth that will be delivered by our own van service.
